Powered gravel caravan site (large)
Liked The owners very welcoming, the site is well looked after and extremely tidy. The showers and toilets are the most cleanest I’ve ever seen in a camp site. The site is up a very high hill but it’s worth the visit. The owners also own a slate company so we purchased a house sign in Welsh slate made by their son of a high quality at a great price.
It’s easy access to the village, there are a few places to drink but not to eat unless you want a take away.
The site is very peaceful and quiet you could not fault the service for the price. It was also lovely to see the owners around the site who chatted to you as normally you don’t see owners once you’ve paid. A great family business definitely worth the journey and stop over.

Liked Everything.. Craig the site manager who is really helpful came and told us where to visit and how to get there. Perranporth is lovely and lots of places to eat and drink it’s about a 40 minute walk from the site. The nearest pub is the New Inn that does an outstanding Sunday dinner. We loved the site and area that much we stayed another night.

Liked The views are stunning, new shower block that was lovely and clean. There’s loads of pitches that are very large and it’s all tidy and clean. It’s a 45 minute walk to Boscastle where there are some lovely little shops and pubs. We ate in The Wellington, the food was outstanding. It’s a bit of a hilly walk back to the site but a last stop drink at The Cobwebb Inn helps 😂

Liked A beautiful adult only site, you can see the owners have spent a lot of money developing it. The shower blocks are the best we’ve used in a long time. The Wi-Fi was an added bonus and the owners are very friendly. Next door is a super cafe and farm shop. We will definitely be back

Yellow powered gravel caravan site
Liked The site was clean and the pitches are large. The shower block was clean and we like that in one cubicle you had a shower, sink and toilet. We stayed in the yellow field the wardens were brilliant they even allowed us to move to a pitch more private. The shop was well stocked and even though we didn’t use the entertainment because you couldn’t take the dog in, there’s lots to do at this site. We had a great stay.

Fully-serviced gravel caravan site
Liked Absolutely beautiful site, we loved it and didn’t want to leave. It was spotless. The toilets and showers are the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. Laundry facilities there as well. The owners are very welcoming and often came to have a check on how we were whilst the dud jobs around the park. The village has a pub that did good food and you get a 10% discount if you are camping at Black Rock.
Loads of walks near by and it’s lovely to hear the water near by from the gauge.
We will definitely be back when we next visit Scotland

Whitby, North Yorkshire, England
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Very tidy and the pitch was freshly cut. We stayed in pitch 1 which is attached to the main site. It was very private with a beautiful view. We received a text early on the morning of arrival and had to text when arrived. The owner nicely texted then saying enjoy your stay and text if you need us. We stayed two night and had no issues.
The site is ideally situated to travel to Whitby, Robin Hood Bay or Scarborough. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road on the main road. Or you can walk using the Cinder Trail which takes about 45 minutes.
The local pub is 10 minutes walk away from the site and we had an amazing Sunday Dinner. Dog friendly as well.
