The staff are brilliant; we stayed one night either side of a trip down to St Ives and our pitches weren’t great either night but just luck of the draw as the site is lovely, and has other great grass pitches which are more private. Well located bins, immaculate shower blocks and overall very well tended to. If you have children there is a play park on site. A couple of lovely short walks around the river which runs along side the site which was good for our dog. We were offered an improved pitch the first stay as the owner said she’d had a cancellation and knew ours wasn’t their best pitch but we were fine for one night and hadn’t complained but it was lovely that she offered and we would stay again but request a grass pitch. Pub on site is ok, standard pub fare, great beer garden on a sunny day though with a drinks hatch which is a good idea.

The pitch we stayed at on our first night had an accessible back lane which meant people were walking being our van so that felt a bit insecure where others had private hedgerows and work better. The second stay we were next to the gate people use to access the shower block and walking route past the river so again quite noisy but really only until bed time and again this was only for one night.

Very helpful check in receptionist. Beautifully clean shower facilities. Lovely local walks. Local pub serving all day food.

Pitch sizes were fantastic, toilets were clean, dog walk was great and the food in the pub was lovely.

Very well maintained site and pitches. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean toilets and shower block. Very convenient being near the pub for food, and the pub is even open for breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere on-site. Friendly welcome and checked in with us during our stay. Good pub next to site with very good food and spacious outside seating. Great large single unit pitch - pre booked.

With the exception of the Large Pitch the other pitches a bit tight making you close to neighbours. Only 1 large single pitch available on site.

Location next to river.

Small site and difficult to park caravan.

There was plenty of space, picnic benches, water taps behind the toilets were spotless with individual bathrooms. Behind a lovely pub. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back

The toilets on the site weren’t sign posted so when I first arrived had to search for them but they were also spotless. No wifi
