We didn’t like the fact that the grass and hedges haven’t been cut in quite a while ,there is hardly any Wi-Fi (when it was kept topping in and out)

Friendly welcome and pleasant layout. The facilities were clean and sufficient. The pub on site is an added bonus. Would recommend if travelling with friends.

Lovely site and very well run, nothing was too much trouble. The bathrooms were great and very clean. The George Pub served lovely food and we had a delicious roast when we first arrived. Jackie the warden was extremely helpful on our arrival and showed us around the site.
We went for some lovely walks including up to the canal. We will definitely return again in the future.

This was the first site i have picked to tow and stay the caravan. Usually its used as a bed for the night at a local airfield
The booking through this site was easy and quick
The site was easy to find, off a main road, and i was welcomed by a lovely lady who allowed me to choose my pitch. I had chose a hardstanding (thinking this is better) but i was much happier in a secluded grass pitch. The pitches ahd large hedges offering privacy and was along the river side which offered some great evening strolls.
The facilities were excellent. The pub was good value for money, and offered breakfasts from 9am. The ground of the pub had a nice playpark.
The elsan point and water points had two toilets, both clean and looked after. The showerblock was amazing, each room in it had its own sink, toilet and large shower. The was also a washing machine there, which i'm not sure was for guests to use......
Overall i loved my stay there. It was friendly and quiet. I will definitely go back, and am already look at another 2 night stay
