The campsite is so quiet in idyllic setting beside the river. Very private with hedges surrounding pitches. Good access to showers and toilets, very clean and tidy in all aspects. A trip to the attached pub proved an enjoyable experience with friendly staff and fantastic food. Very well situated between Gloucester and Bristol with good access to nearby garage (with cheap fuel) and groceries. A very lovely sight that we wouldn't hesitate to go back to

New toilet area is not lit and is pitch black at night. A little daunting.. also big showers are very slippy, resulting in a fall, shower mats or a non slip surface would improve things greatly

My wife and I both enjoyed our stop over at Riverside Caravan Park. It was easy to book and as we were due to be a late arrival by prior agreement, the staff at ‘The George’ were accommodating.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, but it is advisable to purchase a refundable shower room card.
It was also nice to be able to have food available in the pub to save cooking on our arrival.

Easy stop off for Cornwall, easy site to find and secure site. Nice pub on site and friendly staff. Toilets spotless, lovely walks on site. Will definitely be coming back next trip to Cornwall. Thank you

Lovely clean site with excellent wc and shower facilities. £10 deposit needed for a card to use the showers however fully refundable. Lovely walks along the river for the dogs, pub on site , bus stop outside the gate, what more can you wish for??!!

Quiet relatively secluded pitch. Great facilities - private shower room with loo excellent.
Pub meal very good. Easy access to M5 and other local amenities - didn’t have time for the Bird Sanctuary - next time!

Convenient stop over just off the M5. The site is situated to the rear of a fine pub serving great food. Grass and the odd hard standing pitch nicely separated by means of tall hedges. A height restricted barrier at the entrance provides a secure environment. There are plenty of lovely walks directly from the site, which proves popular with dog owners.

We were sited by the site warden on pitch no 1 which is adjacent to a footpath giving access to the off site shower block. A wooden gate at the entrance to the footpath is constantly slammed from early morning and all through the day. The site is located just feet from the river Cam, this makes me uneasy for the fear of flooding. A £10 deposit is required to obtain an access card for the shower block.

Handy for the pub.

Too many dogs barking early in the morning. Pitches way too small for a caravan and awning. Our neighbours were asked to move their camper and awning as their guy ropes were right by our caravan and the actual side of the awning was only 18 inches away from us.
