Very friendly, very clean, level pitches. Beautiful settings and lovely local walks. Dog friendly.
The George has good food and is also dog friendly. This is our 2nd and we will definitely return 🙂

Location close to M5 - ideal for stop en route to Dorset. Both the warden, Jackie, and pub staff friendly & helpful following our late arrival. Takeout food available from the pub. Shower & toilet pods clean and lovely riverside walk perfect for taking the dogs.

Great facilities - always kept clean. Had our own tap and the site was well kept.
It was very near Slimbridge and the Gloucester canal which we enjoyed.
Easy access from M5. Secure site.

The only thing that would improve it was to make more pitches hard standing.

Lovely site with a new toilet block in the middle, an absolute asset as it would've been a bit of a trek to visit the main toilet block in the middle of the night! The shower rooms are brilliant, nice to have space, and were very clean. Great pub next to the site, we had breakfast which was lovely but did take awhile to arrive, but perhaps was because it was freshly cooked and we were keen to get on the road. Bit of a faff getting off the site if Jacky wasn't around as you have to get the Pub staff to let you out. Brilliant walks for dogs along the river. Pitches were private with hedges in between although it might feel less so if the site was full. Overall a cracking little site for a stopover. Thank you Jacky, we will be back!

The site was easy to find with the entrance at the George pub car park.

Toilets and showers are clean and the area is green and lovely.

£30 was on the steep side - I think it’s more £20-£25 (my opinion).

If you want to leave the site before 9am please beware that if your height is an above 2m you are stuck until the warden retracts the barrier and releases you!

Food portions at the pub was a little sad. Nice pint of beer though!

very friendly and welcoming, great location for travelling, very clean and tidy site, washroom facilities are excellent as sectioned into individual shower room suites. food served at the pub on site is excellent with friendly and helpful staff. would definitely stay here again.

Pitch was good only stayed 1 overnight although have done this a few times on route to Devon from Scotland.
Used The George for food which was excellent and well priced. Definitely would use again.
