Lovely private pitches, well sheltered and even had our own picnic bench and water tap.

Loved the whole site. Was small and was made cosy with big hedges between two pitches. There was picnic tables on the pitch. Beautiful view of the river and Al Paca's from the farm accross the river. Abundance of wildlife to watch. Lovely wood walk which brought you out to countryside and a further walk along the river. The bathrooms were the best individual rooms with shower, toilet and sink. Best facilities i've seen on a campsite. Spotlessly clean. Only downfall was no control over temperature. We went during a heatwave and really needed a cooler shower. The child teenager loved the wood and actually got him to walk the dogs. So massive win there. He wants to come back. Was great location to explore the area too. Staff were really nice and helpful. Big playarea for younger children. Huge pub garden. Good food.

Lovely site with well marked pitches. Picnic bench was a bonus and saves us unpacking our own! Toilets and showers were spotless and clean! Seems like more of a place for stopping for one night for those with caravans but still a nice quiet site! Pub was a bonus too! X

A nice quiet site but close to the main motorways.
Nice facilities and the lovely pub, The George does amazing food with friendly staff.
Could not ask for a better place.

The toilets & shower facilities were very well maintained and cleaned everyday. The main shower rooms (x4) were very spacious with plenty of clothes hooks available. The foot path on the opposite side of the river was a great dog walk, although I wouldn't recommend in the dark without a torch. The staff were all friendly and we received a great welcome when we arrived. I generally wake up quite early and found it peaceful to sit with a hot drink near the river and take in the local wildlife.
Although my children didn't use the play area, there appeared to be quite a large area for children to play in the pub garden.
We had a breakfast and a lunch in the pub, and this was very nice. Again the service was good and they allowed our dog to sit by the table while we ate (only a small section in the pub allowed dogs, not the entire area).
Wi-Fi is available in the pub, mobile signal for us was very poor in this area.

Only thing that I found a little annoying was about the showers. You were not able to control the temperature of the water in the showers. I like a hot shower normally, but after a hot day I was anticipating a cooler shower, but no way of controlling the temperature. This wasn't a major issue though.
On the flipside, there was a couple of occasions when there was no hot water at all. This happened on a couple of evenings when having a late shower. We were told that it's possible that all the hot water had been used by others before we used them.

Absolutely loved this site, would stay again in a heart beat!
Staff were great, very friendly, informative and attentive.
Every 2/3 pitches shared fresh water facilities at no extra cost.
The pitches are fairly flat and very well kept.
The toilet /shower facilities are great and well maintained.
The pub and garden/park are excellent, they have a bouncy castle that is up every day and the park is a good size, the kids loved it!
The food is good too, we ate dinner, Sunday lunch and breakfast, all highly recommend.
The close surroundings area has some hidden secrets that were fun to explore. Cattle Country 8mins away is a must do for young families.

Didn’t have the greatest of pitches, was in the shade most of the day.
No Wi-Fi at the pitches had to go to the pub, even outside the pub in The gardens was poor Wi-Fi.
