What customers say

Top-notch, well-kept site with roomy, flat pitches, spotless facilities, and ripper staff. Guests love the hot showers and communal kitchen. Peaceful vibes, lovely scenery, and a great base for exploring. A few minor gripes about Wi-Fi and road noise, but mostly all good.

Liked Lovely friendly site, very clean facilities. Fully equipped Kitchen is very useful, with some supplies for those things you forget to pack! 20p for a quick machine wash. Lovely long walk down disused railway into town with a pub at the end. Supermarkets 15 mins away. River runs through edge of site, kids loved having a paddle!

Liked We have just returned from a lovely 4 nights at Our Welsh. What a beautifully peaceful and clean site, with brilliant fully serviced flat pitches. The shower area and toilets are probably the cleanest we have ever encountered at a campsite, and with a fab kitchen area stocked with lots of useful essentials. We had a wonderful break with our 2 children and dog. Thank you.

Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site

Liked Facilities were great and well looked after. Toilets were always clean. It's a really nice sized campsite so felt that there was enough space and nice and quiet even though it was fairly full! Lovely location and there was a nice path to walk by the stream which our dog loved. Owners were friendly and responsive, will definitely be coming back!

Liked REALLY lovely site, very clean and well stocked with essentials, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I can't speak highly enough about it.

Disliked The only negative is how close to a busy road it is. The traffic noise was a bit much most nights.

Local attractions

Your local section of the Celtic Trail is National Cycle Network Route 4, which passes 300 metres from the park on its lengthy route from London to Fishguard, and taking in the eastern section of the Celtic Trail, from Swansea to Chepstow, Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye. Exploring by foot, it's a mile and a half from the farm to join the Taff Ely Ridgeway Walk through the Ely valley and Taff Vale, starting near Glynogwr and making its way through Llantrisant forest, Llantrisant and Garth Hill – look out from here for splendid views over Cardiff and the Taff valley. The walk then snakes along to Caerphilly Common to finish up among more spectacular scenery from Caerphilly mountain. Going coastwards, Porthcawl is 15 miles or about 25 minutes' drive away for access to sands, surf schools and the Welsh Coast Path, on its huge 870-mile run from Chepstow to Queensferry. Or head to Bridgend to take the interactive Nature Keeper Trail, looking out for 14 digital sculptures highlighting the nature and landscape of this pretty part of Wales.
