What customers say

Great for a quiet getaway! Lovely views, super clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Good dog walking but the shop's a bit basic and WiFi can be patchy. Might need a car for local exploring as there aren't many footpaths near the road.

Meadow and Kerry fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Friendly staff great shower and toilet facilities and a lovely view

Disliked Nothing really except due to how the pitches are aligned our view was interrupted by a caravan on the pitch in front. Perhaps a slight adjustment in some cases would be of benefit. No apparent walks from site avoiding main roads

Camlad fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Quietness - beautiful location overlooking fields and the hills in the distance.

Dog friendly. A walk on site

Central to lots of good walking areas and some great pubs

Helpful friendly staff

Disliked Pitch wasn’t the greatest for us as we have a stupid dog that barks when he sees people to say hello. It’s unfortunately outer pitch was on a walk through, not the sites fault.

Meadow and Kerry fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Lovely site. Friendly people. Clean & flat. Free mini golf. Peaceful

Disliked We were in the middle of the pitches and felt we had no privacy. Around the edge would have been better.
When going for a walk we had to go on the busy main road although there was a grass verge.

Meadow and Kerry fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Warm and friendly welcome, lots of helpful information, printed and verbal. Really well organised site without being restrictive and having loads of rules. Very clean and large wet rooms, and plenty of them, and kept spotless. Peaceful. A lot of pitches but the way the site is landscaped it doesn’t feel big. Great dog walking area. Just a lovely site run by a lovely bunch of people.

Disliked Wifi not brilliant but passable.

Route directions

Please do not try to use satnavs in the last five miles of your journey: they will try to take you down lanes that are neither suitable for a caravan nor necessary to go down. The site is on the A489 between Craven Arms and Churchstoke. If travelling east on the A489 from either Welshpool or Newtown follow the signs for Craven Arms once in Churchstoke. Pass Harry Tuffins garage and supermarket on your right. Daisy Bank is a further two miles on the righthand side of the road. If travelling via Shrewsbury, take the A488 sign posted from the A5 to Bishops Castle. It is approximately 30 minutes from the A5. The turning onto the A489 is a very sharp one to your right travelling down hill towards the village of Lydham. Check the map and follow it carefully so as not to miss the turn. If travelling from Craven Arms, take the A489 and follow all signs to Newtown. The site is signposted from Lydham and is approximately two miles on the lefthand side.
