Lovely clean site. Staff were chatty and friendly.
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked Nice clean site. This was our first ever caravan weekend break and it was perfect for what we needed.

Good, but could easily be improved
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked Nice pitches and a beautifully appointed club with nice friendly staff.
Restaurant and bar are excellent.
Disliked Men’s showers - No. 1 shower of 3 the drainage has failed and has obviously been blocked for some time as the leakage has rotted the floor in No.2 & 3 showers, otherwise the facilities were clean & tidy.
The touring site appears to be neglected, with leakage at the chemical disposal point, large ruts and holes in the access roads etc., which is a pity as this is otherwise a lovely well located site.

Liked Lovely area with lots of wildlife. Staff are friendly. Great area for a couples getaway. would benefit from a play park for the children.
Disliked Shooting range is very close so can be loud but was expected.

Liked Was lovely , nice looking and loved the peacocks ,toilets were lovely and clean and showers were lovely ,food was amazing
Disliked Toilets and showers were a little far to keep walking over to but we managed, also there was 9 of us on bikes going to up the nc500 and the gravel was a little scary on the bikes but other than that was lovely stay

Nice site. I'd give it 4 star maybe 4 and a half.
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked Nice site, just a shame the weather was so bad. Torrential rain which wiped out our week, and the gents toilets. Food excellent in restaurant but make sure you book. Noisy during the day with the shooting but still worth the visit.

Ok as a stop over heading north or south.

Liked Close to M74
On site bar and restaurant (if that’s your thing)
Disliked Toilets to far away from campsite.
Rubbish bins to far away from campsite.
Lots of cars and people passing close by campsite.
Ducks and peacocks on site (and that’s fine) but leave poo around areas where people walk and camp.
Very much a country club with the focus being day visitors and residents rather than the camping/caravan community.
