Looking for a peaceful park in Scotland? There’s more than a wee chance you’ll have a top time at Foresterseat Caravan Park less than 10 minutes’ drive from Forfar in the Five Glens of Angus… this site’s a scenic place for sitting with a beer at the end of the day while looking out across a wild setting. With an extended burnside dog-walking area at the park and Murton’s nature reserve across the road (about a five-minute wander away) for lakeside lopes and birdwatching – or tasting traditional cream teas at the café – it’s also a sweet spot for strolling. The park connects with Chester’s Path leading into Forfar too, meaning the hour-long circular trot to town goes through lush countryside via the nearby golf course. In the other direction, you can pass lochs like Rescobie and Balgavie on your way to the walled Pitmuies Gardens with their alpine meadows and marked paths or reroute yourself north west to Angus (20 minutes) for bistros and pubs serving traditional Scottish food as well as international fare. You can get grub here or head back towards the site for eats at the restaurant and bar next door. Other facilities at this well-kept, purpose-built park include a modern shower, toilet and washroom block with underfloor heating to keep toes toasty on cooler Scottish mornings and evenings.

This is a cracker of a clean, spacious, and chill adults-only park. Reviewers raved about the spotless, modern loos and showers, super friendly staff, and roomy campsites. Handy spot for local sights, and Sinclair's next door is a must-try. A few minor pitch levelling quibbles, but overwhelmingly brilliant - heaps want to come back!

Powered grass site

Liked Beautiful and peaceful site. Excellent amenities, including hot flowing showers, wifi, very clean. Lovely to have restaurant next door. Friendly custodian. Loved the nature walk over the road too.

Liked From the moment we arrived, we started to relax, site is clean, well maintained and toilet, dishwasher was spotless.
Plenty around to go and do.. Lovely walks, really enjoyed the nature reserve 5 mins away walking. Will definitely be returning.

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Large pitches, site well maintained. Staff lovely. Bus stop right outside site takes you into Forar. Plus the nature reserve is just across the road. Plenty of wild life, we saw red squirrels, red deer plus a buck, antlers an all. It was a lovely walk.
Plus WiFi was great too.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Liked Great pitches, very helpful hosts, clean facilities and good walks.

Disliked Not enough showers and the disable toilet with shower could do with a better door lock as once inside and you snib the door help wouldn't get in if the disabled person needed assistance due to the snib as the spare key would be useless.

Liked Flat large immaculate pitches well spaced out. Toilet block again immaculate and good showers without the need to keep pressing a bottom. Nice walks for dogs around the site and plenty of attractions nearby but will need to be mobile. Bus stop just outside the site so well connected.
