There’s more than a wee chance you’ll have a top time at Foresterseat Caravan Park less than 10 minutes’ drive from Forfar in the Five Glens of Angus… this site’s a scenic place for sitting with a beer at the end of the day while looking out across a wild setting. With an extended burnside dog-walking area at the park and Murton’s nature reserve across the road (about a five-minute wander away) for lakeside lopes and birdwatching – or tasting traditional cream teas at the café – it’s also a sweet spot for strolling. The park connects with Chester’s Path leading into Forfar too, meaning the hour-long circular trot to town goes through lush countryside via the nearby golf course. In the other direction, you can pass lochs like Rescobie and Balgavie on your way to the walled Pitmuies Gardens with their alpine meadows and marked paths or reroute yourself north west to Angus (20 minutes) for bistros and pubs serving traditional Scottish food as well as international fare. You can get grub here or head back towards the site for eats at the restaurant and bar next door. Other facilities at this well-kept, purpose-built park include a modern shower, toilet and washroom block with underfloor heating to keep toes toasty on cooler Scottish mornings and evenings.

喜欢 Nice to stay on a site after a week of touring Scotland. Lovely welcome, and a nice clean site. After a much needed hot shower walked over to the restaurant next door and had the nicest steak, definitely worth a visit

喜欢 we really enjoyed our stay, very friendly welcome and we got to pick our pitch! toilets and showers were immaculate, really enjoyed my shower!
the washroom was perfect, again very clean!

喜欢 Nice friendly welcome, lovely clean and spacious showers and a well laid out tidy site. Fabulous dog walk right round the perimeter of the site.

不喜欢 The grass clippings were left on the grass on the dog walk so they were trodden in the van everywhere by us and our dog despite our best efforts not to.

Easy access around site,
Well spaced pitches
Shower block very clean & well maintained.

Well positioned location for base to sightseeing.
Glamis castle is a must (even for non historians like us!)
Arbroath, a surprising fishing town
Easy to get to off A90 trunk road.
Sinclair restaurant just off site was very handy
