What customers say
A top spot by a cosy pub, with plenty of room to spread out. Facilities have improved thanks to the new, friendly owners. Access to the dunny block via a pub garden code might be a bit of a trek for some, but the grub's good and it's a ripper base for seeing the sights.

Unpowered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent site
Liked Amazing site, lovely hosts & very nice locals to have a drink with. Beautiful garden area with 4 goats, we had breakfast too which was buffet style with a good selection & cooked to perfection. Showers and toilets well looked after aswell. Really can’t go wrong a perfect family friendly site & super cheap too! They have a festival next July so we will definitely be returning, overall the best experience we’ve had at a site!

Friendly pub grounds offer flat field and events, food.
Unpowered grass and gravel motorhome site
Liked It was close to local history, plenty of space and flat ground to camp, and the pub of course. Friendly helpful staff too. Probably would come back without kids for an event, but OK and nice and quiet too when closed!
Disliked I prefer not to have coded toilets and to walk through a pub garden with a kid to get to one, but I appreciate anything else might not be feasible to build, and we managed fine. However £5 for a shower feels a bit steep, but we're OK without for one night.

Unpowered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent site
Liked We had a fantastic stay at The Crown Inn, Bishops Cannings! We literally live 10mins away but felt like we could have been anywhere.
Myself, Husband, kiddos (girls age 6 & 7) and dog thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We played lots of games, had dinner in the pub on both nights, went to the Maize Maze at Lower fields Farm and cycled along the canal all the way to Honeystreet for the floating fayre!
The kids could safely run around and explore without any worry. The goats were an added extra!
Thanks for great stay, We will definitely return! 🏕️🏕️🏕️

Unpowered grass and gravel motorhome site
Liked Colin and Karen were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and although we only stayed one night we had a great time and it was an ideal stop over for us.
The field was large and washing up facilities have recently been added. Kenny and Moira
