Liked The site was basic but a good location. It was clean and the pub staff were friendly
Disliked The police arriving at 11 and not getting any sleep due to disrespectful campers

Disappointed
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The pub was lovely
The field was well maintained
Easy to find
Disliked Only 1 toilet and it's quite a walk from the field and creepy at night as its through a car park
1 shower which you have to pay for
The campsite doesn't state this £2 for 6mins doesn't stay hot either
Too many campers needs limits to how many can pitch up
Loud campers
Police being called at 11pm and others chatting til 3pm ruined the last night!

Would only return if they restricted the number of campers.

The Bell Inn was the main attraction.
The food, especially the big breakfast was amazing.
Very friendly hosts.
Nice large hot shower.
Disliked Only one shower and one toilet .
Over crowded for the size and facilities available.

Liked We had a lovely stay at Buckland Field, plenty of space with a great pub next door, everyone was really welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely meal there in the evening too. We would stay here again.
Disliked The only slight issue was there was no toilets in the field, it is only a couple of minutes walk to the toilet which was fine but there is just one. During the day/evening you can use the pub toilets though

A very peaceful night spent in the camping field behind The Bell…
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked A very peaceful night spent in the camping field behind The Bell Inn pub in Buckland Dinham, surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of the Somerset countryside. The couple who run the pub & campsite are lovely-very friendly and helpful. The pub itself is welcoming & the home cooked food is excellent. The facilities were spotlessly clean & available to use 24 hours. There were only ourselves and one other van, plus one small tent, during our stay so our dog was delighted to have the field to herself! I went to a gig at the Cheese and Grain in Frome so this is the perfect place to spend the night, as it’s very easy to get into Frome from here. For £16 for the night we t was excellent value and we will definitely be back!

Great site but not for larger motorhomes
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Friendly, welcoming pub, great selection of beers etc. nice garden. Nice camping field.
Disliked This site is absolutely not suitable for larger motorhomes. We had a nightmare getting in and getting out in our 7.5m Bailey. I would suggest this site is only really suitable for Campervans and smaller motorhomes, probably 6m or less.

Great stop over behind a lovely, welcoming pub serving good food
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Warm welcome with friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Lovely food in the restaurant in the evening and top notch breakfast in the morning.
Nice field
Dogs welcome in the camping field and pub
Great location- booked as a stop over halfway between Kent and Cornwall
Reasonably priced
We will definitely stay there again
Campers should know that there are no toilets in the camping field

Lovely simple small site.
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Lovely mostly level field next to a country pub. Great views over the countryside.
Handy sink onsite for washing up.
Disliked I wasn’t greeted by anyone and had to search for someone when I left in order to pay. I didn’t need the facilities but I would have used the on-site toilet if I knew where it was.
I know it can’t be helped but the flys were really bad. The weather was fab but I had the close the door at 6PM. It certainly would put me off coming back.
