  • Family-run park with spectacular sea views
  • Heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym, bar and restaurant
  • Sauna, steam room, crazy golf, kids' club and adventure playgrounds
Ever wanted to pitch up near Paignton, or better yet, in a spot which has sea views and sits a few minutes' walk away from a long sandy beach? Behold Beverley Park, a site with spectacular scenery less than a mile from the rockpools of the sandy Broadsands beach. When it comes to relaxation, you might want to start at one of the park's two heated outdoor pools, then read the papers at the poolside café. Another option is to visit the sauna, steam room and hot tub, and then have steak or fish and chips (or both) along with a cocktail or a glass of wine (or both) at the Jetty Bar and Terrace. If you feel more energetic and ambitious, get crazily competitive at crazy golf or fit in a workout at the gym. There are plenty of family-friendly facilities at Beverley Park including outdoor adventure playgrounds, kids' clubs, paddling pools, soft play, family amusements and an indoor playroom. The daytime activity programme also has a variety of activities like water zorbing and beach rambles. More? There is also the Catch takeaway and Starlight bar for refreshments and a shop for those who decide to self-cater. Family bathrooms are also among the facilities.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site (premium)

Liked: Staff were so friendly and helpful and very dog friendly too.
Site facilities were very clean
Restaurant was welcoming and the food was very good.
Pitch was level and a good size

Disliked: Storm Darragh which cut our stay short.
The bar was closed for a private function so was unavailable
Outdoor pool isn’t available in winter although it hasn’t been drained so looked like it could have been used, which was disappointing. Some of us like cold water swimming .

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked: Location - fantastic view
Indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc
Large laundry facilities
Very friendly and cheerful staff

Disliked: The toilet/shower block near the touring pitches is dated, but the showers are still powerful and hot.
The shower doors don't close properly, so people coming into the block can see you getting changed via mirror reflections

WiFi doesn't work at pitch

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked: Always a favourite for caravans but first time in camper. Very good site, love the amenities on site as it’s huge. One block of showers etc a little dated but the other is fab. Can’t complain as had everything and in easy reach of all pitches. Would say the family and separate disabled rooms were better than other sites stayed on. Has a bath!!! So friendly. Some pitches better than others for a view and they were happy to move us to one with a view with no problem. Great location that’s why we’ve been going for 30 yrs .

Disliked: In the busy months I can see 4 showers in each block, might be a little stretched.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site (premium)

Liked: Lovely location with great views across Torbay. Clean and well maintained. On site facilities are good with friendly staff.

Disliked: Paid for WiFi which was not very stable. Also a minor point but slightly disappointed that the dinner menu remains constant throughout the week in the Jetty restaurant (the food itself is good) - a bit more variety would be appreciated if looking to eat there regularly.

Powered grass site

Liked: Beautiful place! We loved how welcoming everyone was and the staff were incredible!

Disliked: I think the pool needs more activities like toys or a slide maybe, the arcade could do with a touch up as its just a room with some machines chucked in really

Local attractions

Beverley Park is within easy driving distance of Devon days out and activities for all weathers, whether you want to browse around award-winning attractions, dive into beach days and watersports or delve into the options of Dartmoor National Park. Kids can plead for days at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park just over a mile from Beverley Park, Living Coasts within four or Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh nine miles away. If history's more their thing (ha), they can try trips to the likes of Babbacombe Model Village and the Victorian street and model railway of Bygones history museum, both at Torquay. The park is close to the tiptop Devon towns of Torquay, Brixham, Torbay and Totnes; Dartmouth (ships! castle!) is about eight miles away for a day out then a Dartmouth Steam Railway trip puffing gently back to Paignton. Go underground for some time among the prehistoric and cavernous caves of Torquay's award-winning Kents Cavern, first discovered in the 16th century and the inspiration for local resident Agatha Christie's tome The Man in the Brown Suit back in 1924.
