This is a lovely quiet campsite…
Powered grass caravan site
Liked This is a lovely quiet campsite - we were opposite the cows and all alone on our corner of the field, despite it being a bank holiday. We loved going on a tour of the farm with Rose who talked us through all the animals - it was amazing!
Sarah was super helpful and Norman provided us with lots of useful information for our weekend stay. We would never have gone to the dockyard or the delicious pub for dinner without his recommendations!
Disliked We arrived late due to traffic and waited on the lane until we could get the code for the gate - could it be provided to people in advance so that you can wait in the yard rather than on the lane (the lane is very quiet but we didn't know this while we were waiting!)

We hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid…
Powered grass caravan site

A Cow Lover’s Paradise!
Unpowered grass site
Liked Norman, Ruth Gary were the perfect hosts — so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The campsite is on a working farm but is so peaceful and relaxing with immaculately clean facilities.
Not needing EHU, we chose a pitch with a front row view of the cows - I had a little chat with each of them before I went to bed and again the minute I woke up (I’m sure they really appreciated it 🤪).
We had a lovely walk to one of the village pubs through the orchards, which only took about 20 mins each way.
The cows were definitely the highlight, followed closely behind in second place by Norman, who did a lap of the site through the evening to make sure everything was okay and everyone was enjoying their stay.
We really wished we could have stayed longer but being fairly local, we hope to return next weekend 😍 🐮 😍
Disliked Not being able to take a pet cow home with us!

From the manager: Yes best pitches.
The cows have told me they enjoyed their bedtime stories!
Great photos
Glad you had a good time.
See you soon
