What customers say
A dinky, chilled, adults-only spot with top blokes running it. Reviews rave about the spotless amenities, hot showers, and cool extras like fire pits and games. Grab free fresh eggs from the chooks and ducks. Decent WiFi, power and water on site. Handy for checking out local towns and nature. A few noted the open-top shower/loo cubicles might not be for everyone.

Perfect retreat with everything you need for a gentle camping trip
Toby powered grass site
Liked Absolutely wonderful campsite! Karen the owner is extremely friendly and very helpful. There's fresh eggs sometimes if the ducks and chickens lay. Facilities are astoundingly clean and well maintained for a campsite! Loved the fact there were only 6 pitches - and adults only, and dogs allowed too! The campsite is beautiful and has a range of things for campers to try out like the Coleman gazebo with bbq area, chill out zone with bean bags, and even a solar powered shower! There are two nice and hot showers, with toilets, sinks, mirrors and handsoaps. The bathrooms are well designed with many shelves and hooks for your accoutrements. There are plenty of nature sounds to accompany your stay, from horses, to owls, to the gentle laugh of the ducks, and the cluck of the chickens.
Electric pitches and drinking water close by. They had a great washing up area, and a waste disposal area too. Pig and Sty pub is a nice easy stroll down country lanes and does an amazing amaretto cocktail called Cherry Drop! Could not fault this campsite!

Peaceful, very clean site - will certainly return.
Toby powered grass site
Liked This was a lovely little site, not overcrowded with the facilities being extremely clean and suffice. The site was peaceful, with chickens and ducks (eggs for free if laid) and outdoor games available (badminton, boule, jenga, large connect 4). The man was super friendly and showed us around. Lovely pubs close by and a shop (both in biking distance).
Disliked Nothing.

Liked Wonderful. Really friendly owners, beautiful site. We had a really peaceful weekend and it has become our new home from home. Locally Tenterden, Rye and Hastings. A great pub 10 minutes walk. We loved it, and will be back, a lot.

Smashing little site.
Toby powered grass site
Liked What a GEM! Lovely site, facilities smashing, so quiet with lots of wild life. A fox, hedgehog, owl and geese. Saw all late at night as puppy had to go out. Karen and Richard very helpful, although Karen went off for weekend (Paws in the park), Richard kept everything clean and tidy. Fantastic little touches to look at, games to play or places to just sit and look with fire pit if needed. We shall be back and will ask for number one pitch if available. Thanks very much.
Disliked Nothing at all.

Liked Great little site with plenty of space. Karen welcomed us on arrival and was warm an welcoming. The site was peaceful, with chickens and ducks (eggs for free if laid) and outdoor games available. You can buy logs for a fire pit which were helpfully delivered by Richard. The site looks lovely in the evenings with the sites fairy lights twinkling away. Lovely pubs close by, one of which was very expensive. Easy biking to the local village or slightly further afield to Tenterden by using quiet lanes. We didn't use the facilities as we have our own (but had a nosey, as you do 🤭) and they all looked clean and well maintained. Thank you Karen and Richard.

Liked Great little site.
Exceedingly clean facilities - bit different as in wooden hut but immaculate.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
Free eggs (if hens laying) - such a nice offer.
Communal sitting area if wanted.
Close the Tenterden and local vineyards
Disliked Shame there are no footpaths to walk along from the site - but that is not the site's fault.
