What customers say

Great spot! Awesome views, heaps of space, and super quiet. Tidy loos & showers, well-kitted kitchen. Owners are legends, plenty of nature. Chill vibes, close to the Watercress Line and walking tracks. Showers a bit cosy for some.

Liked One of the best sites we've ever stayed at.

Simple site with huge all grass pitches, small but immaculate toilets and showers and a kitchen available to campers. Facilities cleaned twice a day and the whole site is very well maintained.

Slight slope from the valley below up the whole field which can result in windy conditions, but virtually free of light pollution resulting in amazing night skies.

WIFI was ok for a site in the middle of nowhere - good TV reception.

Can't fault anything on our week's stay!

P.s. in the pre-arrival emails we send out we do advise guests to follow Google or Apple maps directions to "Two Hoots Glamping, Caravan Park & Campsite" as following SATNAV seems to take guests c. 1/2 mile down the lane for some reason unknown to us. I am really glad you found us!

As mentioned above, facilities were spotless and well maintained

Liked It was certainly nice to be at a site that had No Children or Dogs for a change.
We always try and stay at Adult Only sites, but inevitably there are dogs that are not very well controlled by their owners ie continuous Barking.
We certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet plus the stunning views surrounding the site.
The Grass pitches are very generous and are quite level, we didn’t even use our levelling chocks.
Michele was extremely welcoming upon our arrival.
The facilities were clean and well maintained and stocked.
One other positive note was the Kitchen area.
It had nearly every conceivable appliances, at your disposal, if needed.
One nice feature was the Ice Machine, certainly useful during the hot weather we enjoyed, during our stay.

Disliked Unfortunately the shower facilities were a bit of the small size, if you are on the large side, which we’re not.
Otherwise, it would be our only comment, everything else was spot on.

Liked Fantastic views across to the Hampshire Hills.
Wide and deep pitches separated by a wide area of tall grasses.
Toilets cleaned by the proprietor, Michelle, to within an inch of their lives. I have been camping for 60 years and have never seen such consistently clean toilets.
Michelle is always available either in person or by phone.
Michelle appears to run the site entirely on her own and takes responsibility for ensuing the site is run to her exacting standards.
A kitchen is available complete with microwave, fridge and ice-maker. Washing up facilities are available. All indoors.

Disliked There is only sink in the washing-up area.

There are only two male and two female toilets and two showers (each shower cubicles also has a toilet and small wash-basin) housed in 6 metal cubicles. As there are 14 pitches on the site, each of which can have up to 4 people on them, there are potentially 56 people wanting to use these facilities. That said, in the 7 nights in August when we were there the site was never full and I only had to wait for a shower once.

Sinks are available in each of the 6 cubicles but are so small that they are really only suitable for hand-washing.

The cubicles are very cramped.

Others have commented on the peace and quiet but the A31 is only half a mile away in the valley and we found the road noise very audible when the wind was in the wrong direction. On one day we heard police sirens blaring up the road on three occasions. Noisy motorbikes on the A31 also disturbed the peace.
