What customers say
A quiet, adult-only spot with great country views and big, neat pitches. Facilities, like the communal kitchen, are always called spotless and well-stocked. Some find the loo and shower cubicles a bit small, but the friendly host, nearby Watercress Line, and lots of wildlife make for a chill stay. Occasional minor gripes: WiFi speed and road noise.

Liked Wonderful view. Very large pitch . Extremely clean facilities. Camping kitchen had a microwave and fridge.
Disliked The toilet and shower cubicles although they are very clean are too small for tall people to use comfortably. There is only one sink for washing up.

Liked The site is so peaceful. It’s beautifully laid out with the pitches cut through the long grass. Loved having the Guinea Fowl wandering around 😀 My husband says the washing up area is one of the best he’s seen! We loved being able to walk to and through the Watercress line station. The Wi-Fi was very good.
Disliked It would be good to have more toilet and shower rooms and they are very tiny!

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Super friendly owner, clean facilities and well maintained site in a fabulous position. The Guinea Fowl morning chorus was unusual and made us smile, certainly not something to put anyone off, as it’s quite brief. Easy short walk to the fascinating work at Watercress line station (Ropley) and travel up or down the line. Will certainly return.
