What customers say
This tidy campsite gets heaps of praise for its friendly staff, clean amenities and roomy spots. Folks rave about the chill vibe and handy location for local sights. While most reviews are ace, a few mention old showers and the odd bit of noise from nearby happenings or other campers. It's a great spot for families.

Liked Staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked A very tired site. With 25 units on the lower section, 2 loos and 2 showers per sex was not enough. We went in the off season but in the busy summer season the queues would be horendous. Also a very poor motorhome service point. Very difficult access to the waste water drain, and it was on a slope. Not ideal at all.

From the manager: Hi Campers. Many thanks for taking the time to review our site. We appreciate that we cannot be all things to all people, however, it is unfair to make the comment that the facilities were not of an acceptable level when you did not, during your stay, experience a "horrendous" wait to use them. During the busy summer season we have an additional service block containing additional stalls / showers, etc. With regard to the motorhome service point, we have long been aware that the drain is not ideal for use, which is why we advised you (and every other motorhome / camper van) on arrival to not try to use the waste drain plate, but to dispose of your grey waste into the "sloping" area that is a naturally filtering wash-away.
In line with many touring sites, we secure the park in the most appropriate way for our site, and, while that is not to everyone's liking, it is effective. We're disappointed that none of these points were addressed during your stay, but we're glad you found the staff friendly and helpful. Thanks again. T&D and the Team

Liked We have stayed at Horam before and returned last week where we were greeted by friendly staff. We stayed on the top field on the grass pitches and the size of the pitch was fantastic. The shower block was clean and tidy. I used the laundry room as well which was value for money. We had a lovely week away as a family and will definitely be returning.
