Peaceful and scenic, Aqueduct Marina and Caravan Park is a prime destination for anyone who adores the countryside. Based on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal in Church Minshull, the Cheshire park also has a great set of marina facilities. Visit the marina’s pergola, where there is a licensed café and bar with views across the water, plus picnic areas to help you unwind. Set on a 100-acre plot, guests can also watch the wildlife or take a walk on site or along the nearby towpath. There are also showers and 24-hour laundry facilities. For activities outside of the park, there are many shops, cafés and pubs in the market town of Nantwich, which is a 10-minute drive away. There’s also easy access to the M6 and the B5074 in Church Minshull. Families, couples, small groups and dogs are all welcome at the site.

Peaceful, clean marina site with roomy, flat pitches. Guests loved the fab, modern loos/showers and friendly staff. The cafe overlooking the marina was a winner. Dog walks by the canal and local shops were a bonus. Watch out for wasps and marina noise, though.

Liked The Waterfront Cafe was brilliant. The staff were so nice & helpful.

Disliked The toilets were freezing NO HEATING ON.Itwas reported but STILL no heat.Wont return in the winter again because if that. No member of staff met anyone on site.

Liked No contact check in was easy, cafe on site very dog friendly and good food. New toilet block was ok but had some heating issues which thankfully were resolved.

Liked Large wide serviced pitch. Love the surroundings. Lovely Licensed Cafe, with lovely food & a warm welcome.
Loads of lovely local walks & walking in the Marina is so peaceful.
We just love staying here. Dogs always welcome too.

Disliked The new showers & toilets are fab, but no heating on which is a little unwelcoming.

Nice cafe/bar

Disliked Half of the facilities blocks were locked and of the ones that were open, half were out of toilet paper.
We were on pitch 12 next to the pedestrian gate which when people went through it slammed really loudly.
There was a lot of traffic noise from vehicles going to the marina

Local attractions

Aqueduct Marina and Caravan Park's Cheshire location and easy access from the M6 means it's in a most handy spot to get to heaps of tourist attractions around this part of the north west and Chester. A popular option in the area is Oulton Park, the racing track in the little village of Budworth that bills itself as the prettiest track in all the land, or you could hike around the wilds of nearby Delamere Forest, or stick to lazy days and potter around small Cheshire villages like Tattenhall and Tarporley. Chester is also easily accessible from the caravan park and has heaps to see among its old streets and swish shops. Animal fans make their way to Chester Zoo on the outskirts of the city to see as many as possible of its 12,000+ animals and over 400 species; if nature is your animalish thing, also get along to the Blue Planet Aquarium and its 100 or so living displays including the biggest school of sharks in Europe. Green fingered? Clear the car boot and drive over to Bridgemere, one of the biggest garden centres in the world and with all things gardenlike as well as toys and clothes in its mammoth shopping centre.
