What customers say
Great spot, super clean with friendly staff. Lovely walks nearby. Caravans mostly static but good for tours too. Some pitches can be a bit sloped, and a small uphill to the amenities.

Excellent fully serviced hard standing touring…
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked Excellent fully serviced hard standing touring pitch surrounded by hedges and trees. Very quiet in a great location. A 30min walk into town via a riverside footpath at the back of the site. Toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean. The host met me on arrival at the pitch and was very friendly and informative. All in all a lovely weekend thanks.

A peaceful well maintained site with friendly wardens
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked Immaculately maintained site. Wardens and all the staff are very friendly. Very good information pack on arrival. Very peaceful
Disliked A minor thing, but the showers operate on a push button. This means that you have no way of controlling the temperature. We were there during the heatwave and there was no way to have a cool shower because of this.

Stunning site. Lovely pitches with hedges…
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked Stunning site. Lovely pitches with hedges dividing each one for privacy. It is 20 minute walk to the beautiful town which has a stunning pub overlooking the locks. There is a large funfair in the town and rides on the barges. The town is quite large so we spent a full day there. It was hot and dry when we went so the walk to town was lovely - but if it was wet the way would have been muddy and slippy as it is a very overgrown mudpath you walk along to get into town. The site was so peaceful and beautifully kept. There were about 12 pitches for motorhomes and then a massive static caravan site that was stunning. The toilets and showers were so clean and each shower had a toilet and sink in with it. There is also free wi-fi which was a bery goid connection for us. At the bottom of the site there was an orchard and secret garden and stunning lake with a fountain. We are definitely planning on returning to this site many times.

Well maintained in a nice surroundings
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked The facilities are extremely clean. Is nice to have a bathroom of your own. The music is also nice to have. The site is very well maintained and the staff friendly. it is a very small site and the pitches have hedging which gives some privacy. It is mainly a static caravan site with a small touring area. There is a river walk to the town but some parts were overgrown with nettles so a bit uncomfortable if you are in shorts. You can also get to town on the main road which has a path way wide enough no to be too bothered by the traffic. The Old Rose & Crown does lovely food at very reasonable prices. There is a nice area to the back of the site with a pond and gardens where we saw a deer.
Disliked The loos etc were in the static caravan park rather then the touring area up a hill and strangely a playground was in the touring park which is adult only. View to the car park only.
