A fantastic rural retreat to enjoy some R&R and family time.
Unpowered grass site
Liked This is a lovely, quiet campsite with a beautiful panorama over farmland to the hills beyond - the sunset view is spectacular. Everything is well looked after, clean, tidy and clearly Tom takes great pride in his site - and justifiably so! The toilets and showers are some of the best we've ever seen. We hope to be back before long to enjoy it for longer than we were able to this time around.

Disliked Lots of dogs barking on the first night from a nearby farm. Wasn't dogs on the campsite and a digger on the field behind started to move stuff around at 9pm which didn't help our friends 2 yr olds bedtime.

From the manager: Hi David,
Thank you for your lovely review and for highlighting our location, facilities, spacious pitches and friendly welcome. We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay.
We’re sorry that the barking dog from the nearby farm and the unexpected activity with the digger behind the site disturbed you on your first evening, especially with a 2-year-old’s bedtime to consider. Unfortunately, both were outside of our control, but we completely understand how frustrating it must have been. Being in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside surrounded by working farms it tends to be the norm to hear dogs and machines.
We hope this didn’t spoil your overall stay and that we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back for a more peaceful visit next time. Thank you again for your understanding.

A beautifully simple and completely stunning campsite!
Unpowered grass site
Liked A beautifully simple and completely stunning campsite! We had a lovely stay here, good amenities and our kids had a great time playing on the large grass space in the middle of the site with views all around. One of the simpler places we have stayed recently but actually our favourite! Driving round the area was beautiful and it seemed there was plenty to do if we were doing anything other than a quick stopover. Would definitely come here again and stay longer.

Liked Liked the simplicity and quietness of site . Very friendly and very well kept. Immaculate throughout .
Disliked Unfortunately the combine harvester was harvesting and we had to go inside and shut the entrances to try and minimise the fine dust . Couldn’t be helped , we know .

From the manager: Hi Ian,
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed the simplicity, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly welcome, and that you found the site immaculate and well maintained.
We're sorry the harvest happened during your stay. As you say, it's one of those unavoidable parts of being in the countryside at this time of year, and unfortunately the dust can sometimes drift across while the fields are being worked. We really appreciate your understanding and are glad it didn't detract too much from your visit.
We hope to welcome you back to Twin Oaks again soon for another relaxing stay!
All the very best,
Tom
