What customers say
This adult-only park offers plenty of room, great views, and heaps of peace and quiet. Toilets and showers get top marks for being spotless. Fenced dog-friendly spots are a winner. A local pub's just a short stroll away. A few blokes mentioned the walk to amenities and the odd shower temp hiccup, but the managers have sorted some of that.

Fantastic campsite! This was our first…
Fenced unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked Fantastic campsite! This was our first time camping and Francis Fields have really set the bar. We stayed in the enclosed dog pitch which was perfect for our two small dogs as it gave them an opportunity to roam without us having to worry - the whole pitch is chicken wired so no chance for those escape artists. There is also a ‘farm walk’ trail which we used to walk them and watch the sunset over the fields each evening - beautiful. On our pitch was also a large picnic table to use for our meals which was a nice added touch. As for the facilities, we simply cannot fault them. Toilets were impeccably clean, the showers were lovely and hot, great station for washing up and they even have an information hut with a fridge freezer and plug sockets. WiFi also worked well all the way at the back of the campsite, which is where we were staying. They have everything you need! We really wish we had booked for longer - we can’t wait to stay again!

Fenced unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked The secure field was great for our dogs and it was nice to jsut let them be instead of worrying about keeping them on a lead.
The campsite was nice and quiet, no kids is a bonus!
We were lucky to be there during a quieter wee also, and found it lovely.
The local pub is quaint and the surrounding area had lots of nice walks and pubs to visit.
Disliked 2 showers and 2 toilets was fine for the week we stayed, but I expect a fully booked site could mean quite a bit of a queue!

A little Gem 💎
Hawthorn Field unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (no pets)
Liked What a little gem 💎
We had a lovely stay here at the end of August. Great hot showers, very clean toilets and washing up area. Loved that the areas to pitch were mowed, so no one camped too close to you.
Lovely to see the horses all around. One unique aspect which is rare at a camp site was the WiFi. An added convenience.
Lots to do in the area. Went and explored the Cotswolds and Oxford itself. Would definitely stay again.

Hawthorn Field unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (no pets)
Liked Location. Pitch’s are well spread out and the individual space for each is great. They have a picnic bench included for each guest as well which was a bonus. This is a very well maintained, rural campsite. Facilities are one of the cleanest and best we have been to. A note that others have mentioned but only 2 toilets and 2 showers, if the site was full I think this could mean longer wait times.
Host communication was also great.
