What customers say
A ripper family-friendly spot with heaps of space and tidy facilities. Staff are legends, and there's heaps for the kids, like animals and a playground. Cruisers loved the chill vibe and handy location. While most reckon it's a winner, a few mentioned the facilities could do with a spruce-up, and the train line might be a bother for light sleepers. Great value, a top pick for families.

An ok site but I won’t go back
10-amp powered grass site
Liked The goats and avery were great for the kids. Loads of open space for the kids to play.
The shop and bar were very reasonably priced
Disliked The toilet and shower facilities were not cleaned often enough. The sinks and showers were slow to drain, smelt of urine constantly, no soap in the dispensers and weren’t refilled in the 4 days we were there.

Great place for families, clean and friendly.
16-amp powered grass site
Liked Weve been coming back here for 4 years now. It was the first place we ever bought our children and weve just kept coming back. We especially now like the fact they have a shop, onside food and hot drinks and somewhere to sit. They have male and females showers now too, not joint. So in all, its just kept improving. The little park, bouncy castles and goats are a great little bonus too!

Lovely campsite, spacious, friendly staff; we would visit again.
Unpowered grass site
Liked There was 15 of us staying 2 nights. We could pitch up anywhere there was space, and so we chose near to the play park and toilets, as there was 7 children amongst us. The site felt safe, lots for the children to do: bouncy castles, climbing frames, football, and feed the goats. We brought a kite too and there was plenty of space to fly it. Although there were a lot of other campers, it didn't feel crowded at all. The staff were friendly. We had a BBQ and fire, and did a lot of stargazing. It was lovely
Disliked The birds in cages. I felt sad for them 😔. The toilets were a little smelly

Nice site and great for kids overall had a nice weekend and enjoyed it
10-amp powered grass site
Liked Park for the kids was great along with being able to interact with goats. Food decent and nice undercover area to have a beer from the bar which wasn’t expensive. Good pitch size for the tent. Bouncy castles for the kids although weather was awful at times so they had to be deflated at times.
Disliked Showers not great as only luke warm. Toilets cleaned daily although they are in need of a bit of a refurb.

Great campsite with good facilities for all.
10-amp powered grass site
Liked Lots of open space and the rustic looking facilities. Great little shop, bar and food service and the wood fired pizza was delicious. The showers were lovely and warm too. Loved that you could feed and pet the goats.
Disliked Toilets did get a little messy so could have been checked more often. The previous people had left a mess on our pitch so obviously wasn't checked over after they'd left.

We had a great time at this site and I would recommend it to others.
10-amp powered grass site
Liked The shop was well stocked with items that we needed. Fire pit hire was easy and the wood supplied was enough for two good sized fires. Son loved feeding the goats. The on-tap super hot water was brilliant for washing up.

Liked Have been coming her for 3 years, love the food on site and the spaced out pitches, its quiet enough at night for the kids to sleep. Fire Pits for hire are great. Shop on site for all the bits you forget and Tesco nor far either.
