Liked: Woodside is a beautiful and well maintained site with a very scenic pond that you are able to fish from. The owners are very friendly as are all the occupants. The facilities are very clean with a summer house stocked with tea/coffee, cutlery and crockery that you are able to use. Water is on tap ant the pitch which is very useful. All this and more and at a very, very reasonable price.
Disliked: Nothing, it’s great as it is.

Liked: A nice small site with farm animals and a convenience hut which was very nicely done out, welcoming and all lit up on an evening. It had a fridge, microwave, settees, TV and free tea and coffee facilities. A quiet rural site to get away from it all. Really nice toilet facilities that were well cleaned and decorated with plants.
Disliked: Sadly there was a large pile of animal manure less than a 100 meters away which wasn't pleasant with the wind. grey waste facilities for motorhomes aren't great unless you have a large waste pipe to direct it to the ditches at the perimeter of the site. Sadly no little walks for our pooch, without doing a there and back.

From the manager: Hi all we can do is apologise regarding the manure heap it’s out of our control as it’s in a farmers field adjacent to the site , 1st time in 7 years it’s been put there …. it has been there since spring so not sure if the smell was from there as no one else has mentioned it . Local farmers are muck spreading at the moment so maybe just that particular weekend the smell ? The manure heap will be gone soon as farmers can only spread at certain times of the year . Our pitches aren’t fully serviced for grey waste but we do have a grey waste empty point for wastemasters . No dog walk on site but there are lots off site in the village .

Liked: This is a gem of a site, level pitches set around fishing pond, exceptionally warm welcome on arrival, given all relevant information needed to enjoy our stay, toilets 5*, the goats are very friendly and the calfs are a joy to see. Free range eggs available from the chickens, such a lovley atmosphere, very peaceful, loved listening to the owls at night.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We absolutely loved the beautifully kept grounds! Such a pleasure to sit and relax on this small site with spacious pitches. The small play park was charming, situated under a weeping willow. The fishing pond in the heart of the space was lovely - complete with water lilies and fishermen! We used the communal summerhouse for darts and chess and borrowed a dvd for the night. The toilets are clean and all the amenities for rubbish and waste are convenient and close by. Kids loved the animals too. We just so enjoyed just being at the place soaking it all in. The clientele was nice - no disruptive antisocial behaviour going on. Friendly kids playing about.
Disliked: If I had to say a negative … it’s hard to do … maybe the absence of showers? It’s just that we don’t have a shower in our caravan. But I do understand that showers are troublesome to run and maintain and folk would take the mick

Liked: This is the jewel in the crown of caravan parks, you cannot fault anything, it is very well maintained. The price is superb, the hosts are second to none. They have all the facilities you require. The icing on the cake is the communal get together room, tea & coffee making facilities a massive tele and a microwave for the use of the campers. There are menus and order forms for the takeaways nearby, who will deliver so you can chill and don't have to cook, brilliant. The whole place is magic, the pond lights up at night what a beautiful sight. It is open all year round and for £20.00 including electric the campers just cannot fall off. I recommend this camp site, out of 5 stars I will give it seven.
