What customers say
A no-frills eco-campsite with great views and a chill vibe. Staff are a ripper, farm shop's got the goods. Toilets and showers are a bit rustic, but they do the job. Can get a bit noisy from the road sometimes, and showers can be fussy. Track in's a bit rough.

We absolutely loved our stay here!…
Green Field unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s so peaceful, with a gorgeous farm shop and lovely walking trails right from the campsite. The field is beautifully kept and everything was really clean, and the showers were lovely and hot.
Yes, the wash/toilet facilities are basic, but honestly, that’s exactly how camping should be…There’s nothing better than having a shower while looking up at the blue sky ☀️
We had such a lovely stay and genuinely can’t wait to come back

Overall a very fun stay
Green Field unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely friendly staff with great instructions as to where to go, how to access the site etc. Fields to camp in were huge with beautiful views. The compost toilets were remarkably useable and kept up well. It would have been nice to know that we needed to bring our own toilet roll! The showers were fun being completely outdoors with just some wood walls surrounding the cubicles, and with hot water too! Unfortunately neither of the doors locked properly and would randomly swing open while one was showering! We would definitely stay again especially with the access to the lovely farm cafe and shop so close by!
Disliked Shower locks need to be fixed, and please make a note that there is no toilet roll supplied in the toilets.

A campsite to visit again.
Green Field unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Loved the back to basics nature of the campsite with wonderful views across the farm. The showers were temperamental but during a heatwave, a blast of cold water was fine. Enjoyed seeing the trees whilst showering! Lovely farm trail to explore and the most incredible farm shop just 5 minutes through the woods. Farm staff checked on the site at least twice a day.
Disliked As it was hot, the compost loos got quite smelly towards by the end of the day but were clean. I struggled with the road noise but I am a light sleeper so unlikely to bother others.

Awesome quiet retreat
Mead Hut cabin (no electricity)
Liked wow, what an amazing place. The hut was awesome, just as described. The site was incredibly secure and felt very safe. I had my own section of a wood, water tap and compost toilet.
The organic cafe was also great. I walked around the site and was also impressed with the yurt and the camp site.
I will definitely visit again. (Single female age 66. )
Disliked Nothing, it was all amazing
There is a style to climb over but this wasn't a problem for me.

Liked Great campsite, good facilities. Organic farm shop and cafe was unexpected but delightful (went every day). Staff were friendly, welcoming. Was able to walk around farm, where the staff working there were welcoming and happy to answer questions and explain the work of the farm.

Liked Amazing space, the entire farm and project. The views, food, woodland, eco care for the farm and land. The water is from a bore, so clean living water is amazing.
It all made for a gorgeous peaceful stay.
Disliked Cafe was slow and confusing without a menu but the produce, staff and shop are really all lovely.
