Μου άρεσε What an absolute gem of a site! We visited here in our campervan with our dog. The host, Natasha, was very friendly & welcoming. We had the government emergency text about wildfires whilst there & she came around to every pitch to chat about it, offering reassurance & making sure we understood what it meant. The facilities on site were great- always clean & accessible. The washing up station & showers had thoughtful touches - bodywash/shampoo & washing up liquids & sponges. I particularly liked the posters on the bathroom walls - very inspiring 😀 The pitch was gravel & grass - with plenty of space around. There was a great little play area for children & plenty of space for family games. Understandably, with the Hideaway's location you had to use a vehicle/bike to access the nearby town & any beaches. However, there is plenty of space around the site for dog walks & we went off site along the local bridleway/public right of way. We were lucky enough to experience the partial eclipse along with the meteor shower whilst staying there, but the skies were spectacular every night! We will definitely be visiting again!

Μου άρεσε If (almost) wild camping is your bag then you will love this site: stunning views, helpful & friendly staff, plenty of space for each pitch! We arrived after a couple of days of heavy rain so Nigel kindly towed our campervan up to the top field as some parts of the site had been churned up. The campers in our group were then brought up in a trailer with their belongings. It was a great way to start a brilliant couple of days & nights. Our pitch was right at the top of the site so we had the most amazing views and plenty of space to spread out. We ordered wood for our fire which was delivered with a smile. For those who didn't have a chemical toilet there was a porta loo at the bottom of the field which had disinfectant spray outside to wipe doors, seats etc down. I honestly can't fault the site or the people who run it- we had a great time!
