Μου άρεσε Lovely peaceful location within easy reach of Épernay (18 mins drive through gorgeous vineyards). Claire made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We ordered a bottle of champagne which promptly came out chilled in an ice bucket with glasses. Our only regret is we wish we’d asked Claire to join us for a glass! Oh and also that we could have stayed longer!! We did find it a bit tight to get from the driveway up onto the grass area due to the angle and the stone bollard, so we unhitched the caravan (6.3m incl hitch) and used the motor movers and it was fine. Getting off next day was no problem. All in all a lovely welcoming stay on this gem of a site. We’d love to come back and explore more of this scenic area … and have that glass of bubbly with Claire!! 😊

Μου άρεσε Liked location beside the water/Marina. Great showers, powerful and clean. The front row had nice view across to park/river. If staying again would choose the more shady side pitches. Had a lovely pool (need bathing caps with can be bought at site shop). Relaxing site by day with the bonus of the grassy area beside river offering shade.

Δεν μου άρεσε Mostly open plan pitches with no privacy. Noisy every night whilst we were there with music and microphone banter through to 11.30pm. Hoped it might have been a one off but carried on each night. Love music but this seemed like a kids club? Also helicopters in evening could be noisy at times. By day though it’s a relaxing and extremely pleasant site!

Μου άρεσε Spacious pitches with privacy. Great proximity to the lake and lakeside bar/restaurant . Walked all around lake and had a swim. Beautiful view of the nearby mountains whilst swimming. Didn’t use facilities on our one night stop but hubby said ok but basic. Peaceful site with bird song. Can hear train but not a problem for us. Great base before the Frejus tunnel next day.

Δεν μου άρεσε Grounds appeared a little unkempt, but we did see someone doing a great job of cutting the hedges back so maybe if we’d arrived a day or two later, impression could be different.

Μου άρεσε We had the most memorable stay at this truly unique and wonderful place! Silvia was extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious meal that evening cooked by Silvia and had the pleasure of meeting her delightful son Giacomo, who was our waiter for the night and extremely engaging answering all our questions about the area (food/wine/traditions) and helping us with our Italian! Their hospitality and warmth made our experience extra special. The area is rural and very peaceful. We loved the rustic charm and relaxed vibe and had the place to ourselves with the use of a delightful shower room! We sadly could only stay one night but will most definitely return. Thank you Silvia and Giacomo for being such great hosts.
