Μου άρεσε Friendly staff and level, mostly, shaded pitches. Nice, clean sanitary block. Pleasant walk to town. Close proximity to numerous river swimming spots and the thermal spring.

Μου άρεσε The view. Cheap. The person greeted us at the gate needs a raise. It’s within walking distance of Whitby, but beware the two hundred steps.

Δεν μου άρεσε Clearly insufficient facilities for the amount of campers, and when I say facilities I use that term in the loosest possible sense - there are two portaloos on a massive camping field, catering for hundreds of campers. Woefully inadequate. It’s like wild camping without the wild. It’s also noisy, the commotion didn’t seem to stop all night.

Μου άρεσε What's not to like about this Dordogne riverside location! Nice shady pitches, clean ablutions and hot showers, onsite bar & restaurant...close to a village and all the region offers. The site borders on the river so you don't have to go far for a good swim or paddle board or kayak (in fact you can rent canoes next to the campsite at the bridge). There is a pool but there was no need to use it thanks to the sparkling crystal clear Dordogne. A gem of a campsite.

Μου άρεσε Great peaceful rural site with excellent host and great swimming pool. Camping pitch area is level with good shade about. Ablutions are spotless and there is a fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer for guests. General vibe is calm and relaxed. Mark, the host is welcoming and friendly, and will take an order for fresh baguettes & croissants the evening before.

Μου άρεσε Compact campsite in lovely rural location with great pool and excellent ablutions. Pitches are large and separated by hedges. Most have shade. Electric point is conveniently located and requires euro two pin adapter. Swimming pool area has a large grassy area with trees for sun bathing or just hanging out. Restaurant and bar on site with friendly staff.

Μου άρεσε Welcoming staff who speak good English. The spacious pitches have good shade. There are no organised activities so the site is rather peaceful and relaxing. The ablutions were very clean and showers hot. Nice pool with lifeguard. The restaurant serves great food but booking in advance is essential. There’s an on-site mini market also. All the usual motorhome services on a mature Spanish campsite that is well organised within a bike ride of Salamanca along the river - or a long walk if you prefer. Access to the river is just outside of the site so you can wild swim or take out your SUP or kayak.

Μου άρεσε This was a surprisingly good site - much more than we expected from a convenient overnight spot. It was clean with decent sized dirt pitches.The welcoming receptionist spoke very good English. Fabulous swimming pool to wash the days drive off. It’s a busy site popular with Spanish holidays makers, so has a great atmosphere to it. A good stop over site as it’s near to the motorway but the road noise was minimal.

Μου άρεσε Fabulous countryside setting with welcoming hosts & fantastic pool. The facilities are top-notch and we will definitely return. The gras pitches are limited so you’re assured of Peace & quiet - no evenings “entertainment” and blaring music to ruin the relaxing atmosphere.

Μου άρεσε This is a new campsite run by a friendly chap with Alpacas. It’s a basic campsite because it’s still in its infancy - there are no ablutions. But it’s quiet and uncrowded - perfect for a quick getaway in the countryside if you’re self sustainable. Don’t let the fewer stars mislead you.

Μου άρεσε There’s lots to like about this campsite. It’s a short walk to the beach and seaside restaurants. It has an amazing swimming pool. The ablutions and showers are good and kept clean. Pitches are spacious and there’s lots of shade. The on site supermarket is well equipped and the restaurant serves good food. What more could you want?

Δεν μου άρεσε Some long grass on certain pitches are it feel unkempt. Power points could be upgraded but that’s being fussy.

Μου άρεσε We spent a couple of nights here in our campervan on the expansion side of the site where it was quieter. It’s a large busy campsite but a great atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and spoke good English. Amazing pool, supermarket and only short walk to an incredible beach with chiringuito - perfect for sun tanning & stand up paddle boarding. Kayaks for rent on the beach. Despite the popularly of this location you don’t get that sense of overcrowding.

Μου άρεσε Fabulous hosts and immaculately presented small camp site set in very rural french countryside. Well worth a stopover and longer stay. Proper camping power sockets so no euro adapters needed. Ablutions are spotless with the best showers we encountered all summer.

Μου άρεσε Fabulous lakeside setting with helpful staff. Lovely green grounds and most pitches have shade. We stayed early in the season but it was beautiful. However not all the ablution facilities were available. Showers were good. The lake has a nice beach and shallow water so is suitable for younger or less able swimmers. Its also big enough for a fun paddle in a kayak and paddle board.

Δεν μου άρεσε Dislike is too strong a word but the facilities could do with a spruce up - they were however clean and in good working order. Shared ablutions & no toilet seat is still something to get used to but ok.

Μου άρεσε Absolute gem of a campsite. From the location nestled between glorious trees filled with birdsong to the bubbling stream alongside - this was a fabulous find. The hosts are fantastic, friendly and have cold craft beer on site! The facilities are spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is filled with lots of scenic walks, bike trails and quiet country lanes. Will return for sure for a longer stay!
