Μου άρεσε We had a wonderful stay at Gatcombe. The hosts was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The animals were absolutely charming and added so much character to the site. The wet room was clean, and the hot shower was exactly what we needed after a day out – it was lovely! We also visited the Tally Ho pub nearby, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. Overall, a peaceful, friendly campsite in a great location. We'd definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

Μου άρεσε What a dream of a find!! Fiona was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us a map of the local area and easy-to-follow directions for several lovely walks, which was a great touch. The pitches are huge, giving you plenty of space and a real sense of freedom. The facilities are spotless, well maintained, and clearly cared for. I think Fiona's warm hospitality, the immaculate facilities, and the spacious layout all contribute to the wonderful atmosphere. Everyone on the campsite was so friendly that a walk to the toilets, which should have taken a couple of minutes, ended up taking fifteen because we kept stopping to chat!

Μου άρεσε If you want an un-regimented camping field where you can park where you like this is the place for you. There is fire pits for hire including wood to buy and on a clear night you get amazing stars. The site is situated with breathtaking scenery all around. If you like spotlessly clean, luxurious showers and toilets this isn’t the place for you. Very basic but we like it that way.

Μου άρεσε Peaceful tranquil location set behind wedding barn at a farm. Large open field for you to pitch up in with alpacas watching you do yoga in the morning. Electrical supply provided along with candles in the trees and table and chairs.

Μου άρεσε Large toilet block which we hardly seen anyone in, so no queuing. Pitches were very large and nicely spaced out and within a walled area so great to shelter from the wind.

Μου άρεσε Lovely remote location with a river running by, farm animal noises and no phone signal. Beautiful setting with mountains all around. Toilet facilities are adequate with a decent light to find in the dark. You pay cash on arrival at the farm house.

Μου άρεσε Friendly greeting by the owner who booked us in. Toilets and shower block was clean and tidy. Plenty of room for children to play with goal nets, playground equipment and a basketball net.

Μου άρεσε Had a standard grass pitch which was plenty bigger enough for our camper. Grass was in a good condition considering the rain fall. Toilet block very clean and according to the plan they are cleaned 6 times a day. Late check in was a bit confusing, but another than that no issues. Didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on them. 10 minute drive to the beach.

Μου άρεσε The pod was lovely and clean. Had everything we required for a weekend away. Was happy with the updated Covid message and cleaning regime. Shower was small, but plenty of power and a great temperature.

Μου άρεσε I liked the quietness of the site and found the toilet/shower block very clean and fresh. The WiFi was excellent, I was one of the furthest pitches away and still had excellent connection speed. I liked that they have extra land to expand and create extra pitches but seem not to so you do not feel over crowded. Plenty of space.
