Μου άρεσε Position of camping site.

Δεν μου άρεσε No bin in kitchen for waste food. No tourist information board and they was room in pot room to put one up. No leaflets or a map of surrounding area showing walks.

Μου άρεσε Situation of site for traveling to and from the coastal path in own vehicle. Hot water always available for washing and showering. Recycling sacks.

Δεν μου άρεσε Entrance, deep pothole. Showers and toilets need upgrading, had to walk through other people,s grey water on footpaths once you left the showers.Slope of site. No bin for waste food.

Μου άρεσε when you are very let down by the company you can't like anything.

Δεν μου άρεσε NO HOT WATER for showers nor pot washing. Took TWO PAYMENTS for our stay out of our bank account, had to phone company and send emails also reported them to Pitch Up but didn't get any support about the water, did say they would email the company with our complaint. Had to email Pitch Up again when we discovered that two payments had left out bank account. No lighting on the campers field at nigth.

Δεν μου άρεσε Shower block was cold, no heating in toilet,shower block or washing up area. Shower temperature luke warm but sink taps hot.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to review our site, we wish you had mentioned to us that you were not happy with the temperature of the showers, as I am sure you can imagine trying to find a temperature that suits everyone is tricky, but we certainly could of adjusted it during your stay if you had just let us know. The shower/toilet blocks do have heaters in them which are switched on when required, but no sorry we do not having heating in the washing up area.

Μου άρεσε Having bus stop just out of the gate. Having cubicles for more than one person to use at the same time.

Δεν μου άρεσε No hand sanitizer. Too many campfires smoke hung in the air and this is a petting farm. Handdryers in toilet but had to wash hands in sink and go back into toilet to dry hands.

Μου άρεσε Everything what you you need was on the site. The toilets and shower block was always clean and there was somewhere to wash the pots. Ideal for walkers.

Δεν μου άρεσε Unless we were unlucky there was loud music playing till the early hours on two nights. It sounded like it was from somewhere near to the site.

Μου άρεσε I liked where the site was situated near the canal and being able to walk into Barnoldswick.

Μου άρεσε Really good facilities, well marked out pitches and fantastic views of countryside and sea.

Μου άρεσε The location was ideal for walking the coastal path.

Δεν μου άρεσε The communal toilet block, showers and wash room all in one room was awkward at times when washing dishes when someone is on the toilet. Having to pay £1 for a shower made it worse.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Learning from your review, I can see you weren't expecting a unisex shower block and having to pay a £1 for the showers. It clearly states on the description of Ty Mawr that it is a unisex facility centre and there's a £1 charge for the showers. Please find below as stated in our site description which will answer some of the complaints you had. "The site is well laid out with a new insulated and unisex facility centre including two toilets, two showers and a washing-up area. There is also free use of a freezer for ice packs. Please note: No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com. A charge of £1.00 applies for the use of shower."

Μου άρεσε Each pitch had a well defined area so not intruded by neighbouring pitches. Toilets were always clean and well looked after. The views of the countryside were amazing.

Δεν μου άρεσε It would be difficult for a large vehicle to get on the site off the main road as the access is on a narrow single track road with passing points.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for your review. There is a single track road to the campsite but it has not proved to be a problem. e.g. Artic lorries have no trouble delivering feed for the farm animals.

Μου άρεσε Ideal location for walking Monsal trail and visiting Bakewell. Hard standing pitch was excellent. Facilities were clean.

Δεν μου άρεσε Washroom and shower facilities were limited.
