Μου άρεσε Relaxed atmosphere. Pond to swim in, not overcrowded. Great lounging about areas by the pond, snack bar, paddle board hire, stage for events and in the woods.

Δεν μου άρεσε Gents facilities: no water available at any of the sinks, had to use the single cold washing up sink outside to wash. No urinals, just 2 cubicles and one was out of action. No toilet paper. One roll was supplied but disappeared half hour later. Two outside showers looked grim, didn’t use so don’t know if hot. Reasonably expensive for what you got plus a tenner for the dog and a tenner for electric extra. Not the site’s fault but very noisy nearby factory.

Μου άρεσε Great location on a hill with views and close to Oxford with good bus link. Lovely facilities and clean. Great warden host.

Δεν μου άρεσε Quite an expensive site with, in my opinion, added and unnecessary electric add ons which is by an app, that when we tried, failed first time but successful on the secondary attempt. However, the first failed attempt deducted the money, so we had £10 credit and only used a quids worth in 2 days!!!!

Μου άρεσε close to city but unreliable bus service

Δεν μου άρεσε Disgusting toilet block, flooded while showering, uncleaned toilets. Shared by residents of chalets on site who have little respect for the block, eg sign on the wall to residents of Court Farm to discontinue putting used condoms and nappies down the system. They played loud music all night, ‘herbal smells’ in the air especially near the reception, tents allowed to set up at midnight then music and TV until 0500, local businesses associated with chalets start very early. There were a dozen low calibre, probably .22 shots at about 0100, probably rabbit shooting. It’s the only campsite where we decided to lock the van while asleep. A local with a cross breed dog ‘ mooched’ about our area (no through path) and young kids on bikes were playing around the van. When you pay premium site fees you expect better than this
