Μου άρεσε Loved the peacefulness of the place and that no one else was around so the dogs could run free. Kids loved the experience of the openness of the toilet 😂. Family were lovely.

Δεν μου άρεσε The kids didn't like not being able to get a phone signal and that there was no WiFi, so they had to talk to each other (both teenagers!). I enjoyed not getting signal as we were able to play games and chat

Μου άρεσε The owner came and welcomed us, she was very nice. The views are amazing and the place is quiet and peaceful

Δεν μου άρεσε The railway pods have no electric outlets, I know it's described as camping without the tent, but I'd assume if there are lights there would be at least one socket. The mattress protector which was placed on the bed (bottom bunk) was covered in black dog hairs. Also the showers were freezing, no or very little warm water came out

Από τον διαχειριστή: Really sorry to hear that the mattress protector had dog hairs on it, I can only assume that one of my little dogs had sneaked in for a cheeky nap whilst the doors were left open, airing the cabin before you arrived. If you had brought this to my attention I would have been absolutely mortified, apologetic and change it right away. Regarding the cold water, we were having issues with our second hot water tank which, unfortunately went on the blink at the start of the Bank Holiday weekend. Usually we manage adequately with one tank but for busy times we switch on the second......it didnt heat up. Fixed now! I dont understand why you didnt bring these issues to my attention while you were here but waited to you were home and gave me a bad review? You say that "The owner came and welcomed us, she was very nice" So why not be "very nice" too? You could have talked to me about the issues, giving me a chance to rectify the problem. That would have been very nice. Louise

Μου άρεσε The field is a good size (there's 2) they are relatively flat so it's easy to pick a place to pitch up. The owners were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. There's a little bar near the toilets, although I didn't use this it looks really nice. Loads of walks and places to visit just short journeys away. Price is very reasonable

Δεν μου άρεσε The walk to the toilets! I know this was a new campsite and they had just started but maybe portaloos on or nearer the field. And I feel if the fields get full one shower may not be enough, but as I say after speaking to owner this is new venture so if it works out they may resolve this.

Μου άρεσε The site was lovely, plenty of walking for dogs. Kids loved seeing the animals. Although I didn't use shop/cafe it looked nice enough.

Δεν μου άρεσε The only downfall was the constant traffic, all night to. So if you are a light sleeper the tent pitches are just off the road and you hear it all night
