Μου άρεσε It felt like I was staying in a magical valley, tucked away from the world. Just exploring the site with my children was a lot of fun. I loved having an outside kitchen area next to my hobbit hut, which was well equipped, the fire pit circles and the cafe. The beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well.

Δεν μου άρεσε If I was being picky, the shower was a bit fiddly to get to the right temperature, which made showering children challenging, but there was plenty of hot water. And thicker curtains would have helped everyone stay asleep longer in the morning.

Μου άρεσε We really enjoyed the activities, Luke was excellent with both the kids and the adults. The site was lovely, well equipped, quiet and fun.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilets being cleaned at 7am, right when the kids were needing a wee!

Μου άρεσε Lots of activities and fun things to do - lake, adventure playground, great for small and big kids. Plenty of toilets / showers etc even on a very busy weekend. Friendly welcoming site, very clean.

Δεν μου άρεσε Our pitch was a bit slopy compared to most. Cups at breakfast buffet were too small for a good cuppa.

Μου άρεσε We stayed in the overflow field which was perfect for our family as it was hedged all around and we didn't have to worry about the children disappearing ! This field was a little bit slopy but the rest of the site was really flat. The toilets and facilities were excellent, really clean, and the owner was helpful and friendly. Having access to the Watercress line and it's playground etc. worked really well for us. The highlight of the weekend was hearing so many owls at night. It was an added bonus to get a discounted ride on the Watercress line too.

Δεν μου άρεσε The trains ran late on Saturday night till 10:30pm for a special event, which was a bit disturbing to the little ones, so might be worth checking for this if you have children which are light sleepers.
