Μου άρεσε Location and the view from the camping area . Simple bus routes straight into Amsterdam central . The restaurant and the shop . Due to mosquitoes attacking us we weren’t able to enjoy the swimming pool so can’t comment on that . Receptionists were friendly and helpful one called a DR on my behalf and was on the phone for nearly an hour . Nice cycle routes around with lovely views .

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers would randomly stop and you’d have to wait a minute or so for them to kick back in . The mosquitoes , unfortunately they caused me and my children to leave the site early has we had been bitten so bad that I had an allergic reaction and my ankle and knee had swollen - Not the campsites fault but do come prepared for mosquitoes. Also be prepared if your injury is not life threatening you wouldn’t be seen , I had to drive home and caught the next available shuttle and was in my local a&e within less than 48 hours being given antibiotics ( again NOT the campsites fault.

Μου άρεσε The location from the Le Shuttle . Not far at all . Wasn’t far from Calais beach . The owner was lovely and spoke good English. The people that lived on site were friendly always said bonjour. Nice cycle route just over the canal bridge. We enjoyed the good showers ( but had to pay €1 for 8 minutes so you can’t hang around )

Δεν μου άρεσε That it was gravel , now that’s my own fault because I didn’t read the description properly, as I had an awning and it was very tricky to get it in the ground but we managed it . The cockerel in the neighbouring field waking everyone up 🤣 .

Μου άρεσε The shower block was decent . They were warm and clean . We liked how it was hidden away in a forest. The resident ginger cat :-) . Kids loved the pool but I didn’t go in as they said it was too cold . Make sure you bring your inflatables as the lifeguard was blowing up inflatables . We also liked that lidi was a 20 minute bike ride away and we were able to enjoy the local area and the nice houses :-) .

Δεν μου άρεσε The cafe by the pool was closed. Unsure why . WiFi was a bit hit and miss, we only wanted to use it a bed time so when it didn’t work it was a bit frustrating but wasn’t the end of the world :-) .
