Μου άρεσε Location was superb, campsite owners were excellent, very friendly and interested in their customers; spent quite a bit of time chatting with them. Never camped in a meadow ablaze with flowers before, a great experience and a testament to their very eco-minded business. Great base for walking - the Orton Fells are just over a mile and half away. No wifi, but there are decent mobile signals. We don't really stay on campsites 24 hrs a day, but we spent 2/4 days on this one such were the peace and quiet and views. Oh, and the cat's real friendly too. Look forward to the next visit.

Δεν μου άρεσε I wouldn't say that this is a dislike, more a wish list item: could have done with a fridge/freezer that worked all day to enable ice packs to freeze. But if that's the only negative I can find, then this is a very positive review.

Μου άρεσε We liked it so much the previous week, we came again for the bank holiday weekend. Great location, quiet, superb views, toilets and washing up facilities first class, farmer and wife very friendly. We did visit the on-site cafe this time and the cakes were brilliant. Might try a breakfast next time - there will definitely be a ‘next time’.

Μου άρεσε Lovely position, great views, brilliant base for walking. Toilets really clean. On-site cafe (wasn’t open when we were there, but have used it before). Nice and quiet.

Μου άρεσε It’s a big site and early in the season there is acres of space. Shop is much improved over past visits and the facilities are great. Toilets always clean and food from the take-away hole in the wall is very good. Great views out to sea and only a stones throw walk to the coastal path.

Δεν μου άρεσε WiFi is there but patchy and signal weak most of the time. But, then again, you don’t come to this part of Cornwall to sit on your phone all day. Do book direct on their website as it’s cheaper. We normally do, but I couldn’t access it on the day I booked so I used PitchUp instead.

Μου άρεσε Location, toilets looked like they were cleaned regularly throughout the day, price okay.

Δεν μου άρεσε We stayed on the August Bank Holiday and the site was fully booked. The site was too cramped with just over a car’s length allocated to each pitches’ width. The site resembled a giant car park, especially at the end we were at as the field tapers quite a lot.

Μου άρεσε Nice and quiet, owners really helpful, friendly guests, really well looked after site, pretty well protected from the weather that blows in off the Atlantic regularly - everything one could want really down this neck of the woods.

Μου άρεσε Views, quietness of the area, loads of space (this was mid-season, so not a packed site at this stage), beautiful countryside, short walk to the coast, lots to do within 15 miles. Amenities good, toilets clean, nice thought is provision of a toaster and kettle. Good value for money mid-season.

Δεν μου άρεσε Campers are supposed to be nice and friendly folk; someone stole my toothpaste - put it down for 5 mins and it was gone. This is a big site, not sure it's for us high season, we prefer smaller and quieter sites.

Μου άρεσε You can't beat this campsite if you want one that is quiet and relaxed, family friendly with plenty of open spaces, lovely views and managed by really friendly and helpful hosts. We've been coming here for more than ten years and we keep coming back, not just for main holidays but for several weekend visits too. The camp site's also Amateur Radio friendly and I often bring down an HF vertical - it's electrically quite and I've made some excellent contacts around the world using very modest antennas (BuddiStick and SRC HF-360). It's very handy too for ten SOTA (Summits on the Air) summits on the Llyn Peninsula itself: NW-045, Moel Ddu (nr Beddgelert) NW-050, Gyrn Ddu (N of Nefyn) NW-058, Carn Fadryn (nr Llanbedrog) NW-064, Mynydd Rhiw (nr Rhiw) NW-066, Garn Boduan (nr Nefyn) NW-067, Moel-y-Gest (Porthmadog) NW-068, Carneddol (nr Llanbedrog) NW-072, Mynydd Enlli (on Bardsey Is.) NW-075, Yr Eifl (N of Nefyn) NW-077, Mynydd Anelog (nr Aberdaron) Plus there's loads more within the Snowdonia National Park that can be reached within 45 minutes by car. Highly recommended.
