Μου άρεσε We booked one of the pods for myself and my young adult son. Instructions received via email were concise and we found the location easily. The pod is well equiped with a camping stove, kettle, utensils, washing up liquid etc and the bathroom has handwash and towels. The bed was very comfortable and we were very warm at night despite the pod not having an additional heating. There is a 'shack' that has freezer blocks in a small freezer that you can replenish when required. These are for the cooler box in the pod. The shower was hot and was powerful enough for a decent shower. Outside was a picnic bench, a fire pit and a barbeque. We used all of these and enjoyed a lovely evening sat outdoors enjoying the evening sun. Despite being the woods being located in the middle of a private housing estate, you really wouldn't know you there were people living around you. The woods were tranquil and full of bird song. There are lots of big supermarkets located in Barrow which is about 2 miles away where we bought food and wood for the fire. We enjoyed a day out at South Walney where the Cumbria Wildlife Trust has a visitors centre. There are hides to view sea birds and we saw grey seals when we visited.
