Μου άρεσε We visited last week with a teen , seven years old and a dog ! Site was excellent, pitch was a good size and level with plenty of space also lovely and peaceful atmosphere We received an informative email the day before and met the owner on arrival. he was polite , answering initial questions and letting us settle in. For us the site was used as a base to visit around the area and gave us easy access to everything we needed.

Δεν μου άρεσε Feels picky however it Wasn’t very clear where the grey waste should be disposed and the light over the electrical box was very bright- great if you want to see in the dark I’m sure but a bit much when you don’t. We could have mentioned the waste while we were there but wasn’t that big a deal to figure out ourselves.

Μου άρεσε Starting as we arrived we were greeted by polite and friendly owners and made to feel welcome. The facilities are basic however they were very clean & well kept with a temperature adjustable shower. Our pitches offered a great amount of space lots of room to enjoy the fantastic views and for the kids to run around playing without feel like cars were in the way or the kids were disrupting others people’s space. It is unfortunate that there is so much road noise on the electric pitches but it didn’t affect our overall experience. A chilled out get together, for two families, is what we booked for and Bush of Ewes definitely delivered the lovely owners brought some goats and a sheep (with an Easter treat) along to caravan for the kids to meet and allowed access through the enclosures to meet all the animals, walk and reach the river. They were both happy to answer question’s and discussed animal rearing with our 14yr old who’s mapping out how ducks will fit in our garden as I type ! haha

Δεν μου άρεσε It’s a shame all dogs must remain on their leash however with the livestock so close I can I understand the owners need to know they are safe. As already mentioned the traffic noise is loud, The A7 is a busy road, but this didn’t negatively impact us and I’m sure the other pitch’s deeper into field are likely not to have heard it.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for the great review and pictures, we are hopefully in the next couple of months running electric up into the camping field so all the pitches will be away from the road, there is a small fenced off area just next to the park where dogs can be let off the lead which is a secure area. I hope the duck adventure goes well 😊 hopefully see you again in the future

Μου άρεσε The view and the beach, as the whole reason why we booked the area they didn’t disappoint. It helped that we had some amazing weather to enjoy them fully, Finding the site was straightforward and easy to navigate. The staff we met were all friendly and mostly polite however it was very busy so some stress was showing with some people reaction's. There is a little chippy van near the shop which was nice a good value, the ’restaurant’ is not as good. There is 3 parks to choose from, including the one in the complex area, an arcade area, pool and entertainment although we chose not to use the entertainment this time.

Δεν μου άρεσε The pitching area has a large curb , some areas this is dropped but that leaves some curb edges sticking out and making some areas really difficult to get in, the pitch we were supposed be using had a lamppost in the middle blocking the caravan, one next door was free and we were able to swap. The toilets weren’t clean, in all fairness that is mostly on the campers however they need staff to clean them more frequently It was very loud until about 12.30am, partying in the vans with loud music and shouting. But again this isn’t necessarily the sites fault, we were given a list of rules on arrival that said quite from midnight and there was security around to help

We're pleased you enjoyed your recent stay, there's really nothing better than waking up to a lovely view alongside your cup of tea in the morning. I will share your comments regarding the facilities with our Touring Manager and ask that they investigate this further, as well as implementing additional cleaning checks. We're also sorry to hear you were kept awake by other guests on park, we do have a quiet policy on park that guests should be respectful of others and start to lower any noise after 10pm, so it's disappointing to hear that this wasn't your experience on this occasion. Μου άρεσε The scenery from the site is breath taking and watching the sun rise was beautiful. We pulled into site one. Louise (The owner) is very friendly and on hand without feeling checked up on. Louise ran through all the information we need on booking in and was happy to answer any other questions during our stay. The pitches were flat and quite dry despite the rain a few days before we arrived, good pegs a must though as the ground is quite hard. Children we all free to explore, play and get to know each other, we were lucky that there was puppy's when we came and the children were able to cuddle and play with them, it was lovely to see the farm dogs, hens, ducks , geese and a gosling wondering through the site there was even baby swallows in the barn. We were kept up most of our first night by a sheep we named Bill ! We had a fire with the wood we bought on the farm and one of there fire pits which is a nice touch. The toilet/shower blocks are very basic (2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks each, with showers just having a flimsy curtain for privacy). The showers were a bit slow but hot and did the job the main thing though they were clean. We did end up with frog joining us in the shower at one point but this was the highlight of my 5yr olds day hahaha We only booked into the site, to use as a base, a week or so before after deciding to have a few days away instead of just days out ( we only live 2 hrs away) and I'm so pleased we did, over all we all had a great time and will be back at some point Emma, Jay, Dante & Talia

Δεν μου άρεσε As i said the ground was quite hard although I don't suppose there's much that can be done about that, it would have been nice to have a door to close when going for a shower although it didn't really cause any problems this time
