Lovely location, pretty village and a 10 minute walk to the reservoir and restaurants. The site is lovely and clean, music and shoe free zone in one of the toilet/shower blocks & lovely spacious showers. Love the site and will return many times in the future

Μου άρεσε We really enjoyed this site & were lucky with the weather after some damp September days. We arrived about 4.30pm having shopped on the way as there is no shop onsite. Reception is open 8.30-10 & 4-6 and is located in the building with all the amenities. Straight forward check in & changed a note for coins to use in the showers and laundry. You can choose your own pitch and we found 3 or 4 round the corner by the side of the house/lodges/back gate that was not as boggy as the main area in front of the house. I had read that the electric was spaced out but this side area was no problem with water and electric nearby. The grey waste and toilet waste were also in the corner. The facilities were very clean & warm. There are good showers needing 50c for 3 minutes although you can press the stop/start button when needed to save time. I showered and washed my hair with one coin but think there was still a bit of credit left from the previous user. The washing machines & tumble dryers both used 1chf each but again there was some credit left in the washing machines. I used the 20 mins quick wash & 20 minutes extra dry cycle in the dryer - this dried a full load undies in the 20 minutes. There is an outdoor drying area round by the washing up area. We cooked both nights as no restaurant onsite and the town was quite quiet. The back gate path leads straight to the lake, about 5 mins walk away and 4 miles walking around the lake path. A bread truck comes in the morning so we bought some pastries for our ongoing journey. Lovely site and location and it was fairly quiet being late September.

Μου άρεσε Lovely site and easy check in. We had a nice pitch no. 374 I think located next to the path that leads down to the lake and also not too far from the amenities. We parked facing out, fairly level pitch but did need the levelling blocks. We'd just about got a view of the lake between the bushes. The toilets and showers were good, however no soap or paper towels provided. Good washing up area and decent laundry although we didn't use it. The pools looked nice, again we didn't use them. Our 1st night we ate in the onsite restaurant by the pools. We hadn't booked and there were plenty of outside tables, it was quite noisy due to the rain on the veranda roof but was it was dry. Inside was booked out for a school party & they did offer us to move inside once the school had finished. We found this restaurant quite expensive. The 2nd night we ate at the restaurant located at the exit to the lake path. It was dog friendly indoors and we had nice meal. We both had the huge breaded pork that neither of us could finish! The walk into Peschiera del Garda is just over 1 mile/20-30 minutes, lots of nice cafes and restaurants for lunch. We didn't use the bus service

Μου άρεσε Lovely site for our one night stop over on the way from Lake Annecy to Lake Garda. Shame about the weather but it couldn't be helped but it did mean the pitch was a little muddy, our outdoor mats helped keep it contained and out of the van. There's a narrow street before the campsite secure barrier. Easy & friendly check in, reasonable price and shown to our pitch. We had a lake view and were treated to a lightening storm over the lake. There were plenty of toilets, very clean & supplied with toilet paper (& seats!). The showers were good, a red button to press to get hot water, no stool/bench but a few wall hooks. The bar and restaurant offers a good service, the pizzas are excellent & only 6 or 7€ each. We didn't leave the site but would guess it's about 15-20 minutes walk back into the town.

Μου άρεσε Easy check in and reasonable price. First impressions are a lovely site and great location with gated access to the lake path. Our pitch was only just long enough to fit our van (5.98m long) but was plenty wide enough. Unfortunately, the weather had been wet for a few days so the pitch was a bit muddy but our outdoor mats kept most of the mud out. The electric point was quite a distance away and even though we have 2 cables (total 25 metres) we had to juggle the route of the cable and lay it across the neighbours pitch to reach. Levelling blocks were needed, which wasn't a problem. We were closer to the smaller toilet block and can't comment on the other block. The block we used was very clean &, as we had found with a couple of sites, there were no toilet seats, toilet roll or hand soap provided. I had already read this on the reviews so was prepared with a drawstring 'toilet' bag containing loo roll, hand soap and some disposable toilet seat covers. I did find one of the 4 toilets that still had a seat! Good showers even though the cubicles were a bit snug, but they were adequate, and clean. We walked to Lidl which was about 150m/10 minutes away from the front entrance. There are nice walks along the lake path from the back gate but as it is also a cycle path you need to watch out for bikes as you leave the site, as they speed along the path by the gate. We headed left out of the site the first night and ate in a nearby restaurant, Terracotta, which was also dog friendly, and about 20 minutes walk. The next day we headed right out of the site to a jetty/viewpoint a couple of miles away. Overall, we had a nice stay despite the weather and enjoyed a break in the rain/clouds to see the lake in full sun.

Δεν μου άρεσε I'm not used to toilets without seats & was glad that I was aware before we arrived - can't complain about the cleanliness as the whole toilet and shower block was always clean. Some electric points are a long way from the pitch.

Μου άρεσε Lovely clean site in a picturesque setting & village. The showers & toilets were very clean & you're requested to take off your shoes in the shower building, slip on mules are provided. The other block is just toilets. The pitches are large & we were able to choose our own pitch. We had a walk around the nearby village of Dienville, lovely church & a bakery a few minutes walk away. There is a reservoir nearby, probably about 20 minutes walk, with a number of restaurants but we didn’t get to these as we were only staying one night. Wished we were here for longer.

Μου άρεσε Very friendly & well run site. Good communication & details were all sent via a messaging portal. Access to water on arrival & shown to a pitch, given a choice on which area we could have. The showers and toilets were clean. There’s a cafe at the entrance to the site but we didn’t get chance to try it. We only stayed one night & the site is a 30 minute drive to Le Shuttle.

Μου άρεσε We stayed at Braids Caravan Park for a couple of nights on our way up to Scotland from The Midlands. We pre arranged a late check in (8pm) with Pam, due to work commitments, and were greeted by the Warden after accessing our barrier & toilet/shower key. Very friendly greeting and directed us to our pitch. We were on pitch C5 with electric hook up and close to the amenities block where we could access fresh water. The showers require 20 pence and were hot and lasted 7 or 8 minutes. The site is a 20 minute walk to the shopping village, both being dog friendly. Braids is a lovely clean & quiet site with easy access from the M6 and we would definitely visit again when heading north.

Μου άρεσε Our second time at this site and we really like the layout & location of the site. We previously stayed on a hard standing pitch with electric which was great. This time we had a non electric grass pitch and liked the quiet end of the site for this pitch. Toilets/showers clean and well laid out. A nice walk into Stourport along the river takes about 20 minutes, but take a torch if walking back after dark!

Μου άρεσε Lovely setting & good, hardstanding pitches with electric and water tap. The toilets/showers were clean. Good communication from the site before our arrival. We didn't use the washing up facilities as we bought a take out pizza from the onsite restaurant. We only stopped one night on our way to the West coast of Scotland but recommend The Paddocks.

Μου άρεσε Lovely site. Pleasant greeting from the warden and shown to our pitch, nice and level for our campervan. Secure toilet blocks. We liked the layout of the site and the amenities. We walked into Stourport along the river, after crossing a field, took about 20 minutes. Definitely take a torch if walking back after dark. Nothing to dislike and hope to go back soon.
