Μου άρεσε Lake, location, relaxed feeling of no silly rules or wardens patrolling every few hours. Andy the owner very approachable & interacting with guests. Sarah the warden friendly. Finally Janet the cleaner extremely helpful & advised on local places to see.

Δεν μου άρεσε Lack of hot showers. Only luke warm. The main shower block is heated by solar panels. But under load at peak periods the solar alone cannot cope with demand. Therefore needs adapting to solar electric, or solar gas.

Μου άρεσε Liked the location. Facilities a little basic & dated, but spotlessly clean. Great sea views.

Δεν μου άρεσε The site staff are profoundly rude & aggressive. It’s like they begrudge us being there. The constant patrols are totally unnecessary. It’s as if they are purposely looking for confrontation, or an opportunity to levy a surcharge for slightly larger tents. ‘ALWAYS’ request a receipt & pay by credit card, so as the site staff do not pocket your cash. We are well seasoned respectable campers of 30 + years, & have never encountered such inhumane treatment. They are bullies.
