Μου άρεσε Lovely location at the end of a cul-de-sac next to the river. Very quiet. Very friendly staff. Good, new sanitary block. Excellent wifi!

Δεν μου άρεσε The site is under new ownership, with great plans for the future. For now though, there is no facility to fill up a motorhome using a hose, and not many taps, meaning a long walk with jugs.

Μου άρεσε Lovely couple (Alan & Ruth) running the site. Very peaceful. Very good toilets & showers. Games to play. . This site was hard for me to rate, as it is quite unusual. A pretty isolated farm/smallholding in the countryside, down a small road. The main feature are the animals, some of which roam free. In particular, the two alpacas love people & adopted us, sleeping right outside our motorhome. I liked that, but my wife was less than impressed. A good selection of wallabies, emu & dog also around. Alan even gave us a tour of the site on a quad bike & trailer. Kids would love that! I would think it would be a great place for a family with small children to spend a few days, but it was too remote & quiet for us.

Μου άρεσε Great location. 20 mins from Santander ferry terminal, and on pretty little sea cove. Santander itself is a great city.

Δεν μου άρεσε The pitches are very close together. Almost no room to sit between vehicles without being in the shade. Overpriced. We were surprised to be charged €40 for one night rather than the usual figure of around €30.

Μου άρεσε Good location, just outside the city of Caceres. Great, brand new, cycle path into the city. Individual, personal, bathrooms. Huge pool, still open in October.

Μου άρεσε Nice distinct pitches with bushes around. Swimming pool was still open - unusual in October. Friendly staff. Sanitary block very clean. Evora is a great little city.

Μου άρεσε Wow! We would give this 11/10 if we could. A most unusual campsite. Small (max 9 vans) in a meadow that is part of Victor's garden. There is a truly family feel to the place. Victor even gathered everyone around the firepit and gave us port to celebrate his birthday. The family are further improving the site, but already the swimming pool and showers/toilets are amazing. Was sorry to leave and may revisit on our return journey.

Δεν μου άρεσε Very little to dislike. The 'old' shower block is scabby, but rarely used now the new one is built. And the toilet disposal is very basic. Otherwise a great site.

Μου άρεσε A lovely quiet site, set under oak trees. Shady from the heat. Lovely, welcoming staff. A bar and restaurant within the same site was perfect for a meal or just a sundowner drink. Loved it!

Μου άρεσε Great location. Next to beautiful bay, beach and surf school. Stunning mountains behind campsite.

Δεν μου άρεσε The site looked quite scruffy. To be fair, we stayed there in the last few days before the site closed for the winter, and the long-term residents were all clearing their sites, so there was a lot of rubbish about. The site is close to the motorway, so some noise from there. The toilets were basic, but clean. No soap, however.

Μου άρεσε Great site, with lots of facilities. In a great location. Touring motorhomes are put in a small separate area of the campsite (it is mostly holiday chalets), but still have use of all the facilities. Has its own small beach. Right on several cycle routes.

Δεν μου άρεσε A fair walk to the main sanitary block, but a toilet and sink (cold water only) is provided solely for the use of the 10-12 motorhome pitches.

Μου άρεσε This is a great site for families. There's an excellent play area (with bouncy castle!), falcon centre, goats etc. Good location too. In the middle of the countryside, but lots of good walks & bike rides nearby. There is a very relaxed feel to the campsite. Hot food is available to buy at least on some evenings.

Δεν μου άρεσε The relaxed atmosphere meant that some of the admin was very lax. We weren't sure which plot to use on arrival, and even the next day it wasn't clear if we were on the right pitch or not. Reception is not open very much, so not easy to sort out any issues.

Μου άρεσε > Nice rural location, but close to interesting places (eg St Ives, Cambridge etc) > Secluded pitch at the top of a meadow > Friendly staff > Good shower/toilet facilities

Δεν μου άρεσε > The 'farm' is more like an industrial processing plant. A number of lorries going in & out, and one day a lot of noise coming from the plant. > The toilet emptying is quite grim, using a storage container which was quite full.

Από τον διαχειριστή: We have a modern farm with modern buildings. We are usually quieter at weekends and bank holidays but as a farm in August we are in the midst of harvest like most farms in the area. We grow grain and market the grain which is then sold and transported off the farm in lorries to local mills. We have taken note, emptied the elsan waste disposal tank and are looking at options for improvement.
