Μου άρεσε This is a great campsite for short stays. Site is well maintained and the shower and toilet blocks are well looked after. (there is a 50p charge for the shower, but for the low cost to stay at the site this is reasonable) The on site shop is really good, with lots of selections available. Wifi available across the site Great location too with plenty of walks a short drive away.

Μου άρεσε This is a brilliant campsite only a short drive to Windermere lake. The facilities are great, as is the onsite pub, The Whistling Pig, I ate there a couple of times and the food was brilliant. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The WiFi covers the entire site. We pitched our tent in an area that had shade in the afternoon. But there are plenty of areas to chase with sun all day.

Μου άρεσε This is a great little campsite with Winnats Pass as the backdrop, situated just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Castleton, with lots of walks to choose that could be done from the campsite. Considering this is a "back-to-basics" campsite, the facilities are great, with a nice little toilet unit that is well kept, and washing facilities. And if that is not enough, they have goats on site too!! What more can you ask for?! When reviewing before booking I had seen some negatives comments on the field being on a slant, but honestly, you would hardly notice it and it caused no issues!

Μου άρεσε This is a brilliant little site with a great location, you can see the coastline for miles. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, they even gave me some pointers on things to do during my stay. Great facilities that are cleaned and maintained regularly. Cracking sunset from the campsite too :-) I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again.

Μου άρεσε This is a lovely little site, plenty of space to choose to pitch up your tent, I pitched up down by the river. The site is in a great location with Keswick and Buttermere short drives away. The facilities at the site are good, although the showers are a 5 minute walk from the campsite, at the farm.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not really a dislike for me as it was nice to disconnect, but noteworthy - there is no signal or WiFi at the site or in the village.

Μου άρεσε Location. This campsite is set in the stunning Peak District with views over to Mam Tor and a short drive from Castleton

Δεν μου άρεσε Shower facilities. Unfortunately, there did not seem to be a warm water feed to the showers as the water was freezing cold, disappointing as there is an extra charge for the shower 😩
