Μου άρεσε Good, clean facilities and the pitch was level and mown. John gave us clear and timely directions for the site and responded promptly and helpfully to our query. Great spot for visiting Bath with the park and ride over the road. There was traffic on the road but it was background noise and didn’t impede our sleep

Μου άρεσε Well kept grounds with good, clean facilities. The pitches were clearly marked with young hedging and each pitch had its own picnic table with an umbrella - very welcome in the recent heatwave. The owner was friendly.

Μου άρεσε Good, clean bathroom and washing up facilities. Deer and bird watching hide with binoculars and reference books. Clear directions to the pitch. Reasonably quiet at night despite the closeness to the bypass. Directions for local walks was helpful. Lovely dog walk to the right of the kissing gate with good wildlife sightings,

It's great to hear that you made the most of the deer and bird watching hide and enjoyed spotting the local wildlife. We're also delighted that our suggested local walks were useful and that you discovered the dog walk to the right of the kissing gate. It's one of our favourite routes too, with plenty of opportunities to see deer, birds and other wildlife along the way. Thank you for mentioning the road noise. As you found, although we're close to the bypass, it does tend to become much quieter at night, allowing most of our guests to enjoy a peaceful stay. Μου άρεσε Friendly welcome. Small, peaceful campsite with excellent recycling facilities. Washroom kept clean despite damp weather. Some locally sourced produce for sale.
