Μου άρεσε We've just a lovely, peaceful few days at Rosa Campsite. Shawn met us when we arrived, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The campsite is very tidy and well kept. The pitches are large and level. The toilets were always clean. We loved that it's very quiet! It's only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a nice café at Chapel Point. Great fish and chips at The Marina. The only slight issue was that the toilets didn't flush very well, and there are not many toilets so we sometimes had to wait few minutes before one was available. We would definitely go back to Rosa Campsite, when we want some peace and quiet! Thank you!

Μου άρεσε This is a very tidy and peaceful small campsite. It is easy to find, access is good, and the pitches are fairly level. The toilets and shower were modern, clean and tidy, although there was only one toilet cubicle and one toilet & shower cubicle available while we were there. The shower costs £2, using an honesty box. There is also an indoor washing-up area. The hot water at that sink only worked intermittently, but it was good enough for what we needed. There are a couple of picnic benches for campers to use. There are some nice walks through the nearby Chambers Farm Wood. Lincoln is about half an hour's drive away.

Μου άρεσε Jason, the owner, is friendly, and was on site most of the time. He asked us to pitch near the facilities, as most of The Meadow has been boggy for a few weeks. The Meadow is slightly sloping, but some areas are fairly level. The site is very spacious site with plenty of space between other pitches. It is very clean and tidy. The site is sometimes peaceful. There are nice views across the valley, and you can sit and watch the wildlife come and go. The facilities (Portaloos) are frequently cleaned. The composting toilets were not in use, so can't comment about them. The shower looks uninviting, but it works well. There is a nice pub nearby (The Fox).

Δεν μου άρεσε Sadly, on two evenings, there was a generator running until well into the evening, which disturbed the peace & quiet. There is nothing mains-powered on the site, so don't know why the generator needs to run for so long. There isn't really any running water on site. There is a water container in The Clearing for campers to take water from. It would be useful to have a proper tap in The Meadow. We went out and bought some 5 litre containers of water. We would advise you to bring your own drinking water, if you can. The Portaloos ran out of handwashing water on Sunday morning. As the owner states in the welcome message: 'Definitely not for everyone.' It's a lovely site, but be prepared for basic facilities.

Μου άρεσε Very clean and tidy site. The toilet facilities were spotless! Very helpful wardens who lived on-site. Good, dog-friendly pub next door with open fires and excellent food.

Μου άρεσε We only stayed here for one night, while travelling through. It's a lovely, quiet, well-kept site, with lots of space between the pitches. Lovely views of the surrounding hills. The pitches were level. We were sent a very comprehensive welcome pack, with directions to the site, and details of the local pubs, restaurants, walks, cycle routes, etc. The toilets are in sheds, but they're very clean and well maintained. The dog exercise field is a nice touch, but the fence is only 3 - 4 feet high, so not dog-proof for our dog! We'll definitely be coming back, to explore the area.

Μου άρεσε This is a lovely and quiet, clean and tidy campsite, arranged around a fishing lake. The toilet/shower blocks are modern, frequently cleaned, and with good showers. (It's nice to have a shower curtain inside the shower cubicle, so that your clothes don't get wet while you're showering!) Electric hook up is optional. You pay for the electricity you use, using a card meter. This seems fair - our usage only cost 29p for the weekend because we don't have an electric heater in our campervan. Mark, the owner/manager, is very friendly and helpful. He took us to our pitch, showed us how to use the electric hook-up meter and gave us directions for walking to the Sandringham Event site. (Approx 1.5 miles walk.) The pitches are level. We spent a day at the Sandringham Food, Craft and Wood Festival. This was a great day out, especially watching the chainsaw carving displays. We also had an easy and pleasant riverside walk to Castle Rising, then back via some pubs in Roydon and Congham. We would definitely recommend this site, and we'll be going back there in the future.

Μου άρεσε Small, quiet site. Toilets and shower were clean (and warm). Good location for New Forest. The Lamb Inn nearby was nice, with some good vegan options on the menu.

Δεν μου άρεσε The site slopes more than it appears in the photo, so we went out to buy some levelling ramps for our campervan. No management representative on site, although when we spoke to Paul on the phone to check-in, he sounded friendly and helpful. On arrival on the first day, we set-up in the space we were told to. However, on returning to the campsite on the second evening we found someone else had set up in that pitch. As the campsite appeared to be full, we thought we may have to drive home, but we searched around in the dark to find the last unused hook-up point, and squeezed in between two other motorhomes so that we could reach the hook-up point. I would prefer the pitches to be numbered and designated, rather than having to compete for a pitch at the end of the day.

Μου άρεσε Level pitches on tiered site. Nice views. Helpful staff. Lots of space. Excellent food at The Bridges pub, about a mile away.

Δεν μου άρεσε Facilites were a bit shabby. Only one working shower. There are some gravel roads on site, but away from these, the grass sloped areas were very slippery and difficult to drive on. There was a chocolate Labrador roaming freely, which was friendly but stole our dog's food!

Μου άρεσε Small, quiet campsite. (We only stayed for one night, on a Sunday) The showers and toilets were clean. Nice pub with great Indian food! Level pitches. We did not see any staff, except for the restaurant staff, but we were sent all the information we needed before arrival. Good location for walking to the Malvern hills. There is Wi-Fi in the pub but not in the campsite.

Δεν μου άρεσε It takes a long time to get any hot water to the dish washing area. Our designated (not hook-up) pitch site was not in the location shown on the site plan, but had been squeezed-in between two other hook-up pitches. This would have been cramped if the other two pitches were occupied, but fortunately one of them was vacant while we were there.

The dishwashing area is run off of a boiler that's run on oil, it can be a little temperamental and we are aware of this but we do recommend to keep running it and hot water will appear! I am unsure where you were placed for camping as none of our non electric pitches are placed in between 2 electric pitches... There may have been some confusion here. We hope to see you again soon, safe travels.
