Μου άρεσε We are long term users of this site and we love it. Owned by a charity and home to retired seamen we are always made welcome in their lounge and bar. Their Sunday dinner is delicious.

Μου άρεσε We love going to springbok, we usually visit 2/3 times a year and are never disappointed. The pitches are well kept and tidy. The campus is home to retired sea men and when we go to their on site social area you are sure of a warm welcome, at their restaurant you can book a Sunday dinner - it was very good. My husband loves the fishing lake. There are lots of little walks on site and if you are adventurous the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Plenty of hot water in the camp kitchen area to wash your bbqs.

Δεν μου άρεσε I have discussed this mute point with the staff who assure me there are plans ahead - the toilets and shower area is very ‘tired’ and the shower tiles need a re grout but they are cleaned every day. Thank you. 😁

Μου άρεσε Absolutely loved the new pitches, we’ve been going here for many years and it used to be all grass which became unusable as the autumn arrived. This is now an all weather site and wonderful. The new kitchen and recycling areas are an added bonus. The new Shower shacks, although they are technically outdoor showers, they are brilliant, plenty of hot water and good shower heads.

The new Kitchen and recycling areas have been updated with a few additional features, like the Shower Shacks, so its great that you noticed. The dog situation is a shame as we love having dogs around the estate. We do however ask everyone to keep them on a lead when outside or in the Main House (Bar), so it is disappointing to know this happened as it can spoil the whole experience for other people. Μου άρεσε We were welcomed by the very friendly warden called Dave. We were on a serviced pitch and the water tap was leaking badly, he immediately put a new tap on He sussed out why we weren’t getting any power. All the washing facilities were very clean. Grass and flower beds well kept No litter. Easy to walk to the harbour and beach Good laundry room.

Μου άρεσε We chose the site based on its location, close to Tavistock, so we could visit friends, less than 10 minutes by road.

Δεν μου άρεσε No heating in the toilet and shower facilities which made using them unpleasant. We were on a grass pitch and the owner decided to do “No Mow May” which meant the grass was getting longer and longer, with all the rain we’ve recently had it was very unpleasant and soggy underfoot. Nearly missed the entrance as the site signs are half hidden with weeds on the verge. It boasted of a Laundry room, washing machine and tumble dryer were part of the outdoor kitchen area, all rusty. On our arrival day the owners greeted us then we never saw them for the rest of our stay, it was all a bit of a ‘Marie Celeste “ experience. Noisy traffic.
