Μου άρεσε Lovely quiet site, near the sea.

Δεν μου άρεσε The shower cubicles were great and the water gushed out of the taps but the shower itself was not much more than a dribble and took ages to get hot. Shame that the facilities were only open the day we arrived.

Δεν μου άρεσε What is the point of signs and a piece on the information sheet about e-scooters being forbidden when almost all children (and some adults) were using them? They were a pain and you had to constantly watch out for them when walking around the site. Site was very noisy all day and into the night. Children were playing in the toilet/shower facilities which were also dated but were clean. No information when booking to say there was a music festival on the Saturday night. Having used Pitchup to book this site we were not impressed to discover it was a Parkdean site until I received the booking information. A mistake I will not be making again. We do not mind being on a site with children and seeing them have fun but this one was a step too far. The link I was sent to book any activity would not work as it said the booking reference was incorrect but when we arrived we would not have used the facilities anyway. The only staff member who was friendly was the gentleman looking after the cleanliness of the facilities. The pitch itself was poor as we had people constantly walking past us in all directions.

Μου άρεσε Had a pitch overlooking Solway Firth which was lovely. Liked The Sandpiper Cafe which saved us cooking one night. Good roomy shower/toilet cubicles.

Δεν μου άρεσε Better choice of ales in the cafe. The water in the shower went from tepid to cold to warm etc. Had we been there longer than two nights I would have mentioned it.

Μου άρεσε Love this site, it’s a peaceful haven in the forest. It is an unspoiled place to stay with plenty of lovely walks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Δεν μου άρεσε The booking system is confusing so will phone to book as we enjoy Oaken Bottom
