Μου άρεσε Everything! The site is peaceful and scenic. We haven’t been for a while and the facilities are still really clean and functional. There are a few new pitches and a swimming lake with sauna.

Μου άρεσε Everything! Perfect, peaceful site. Drinking water, waste disposal and a port-a-loo were available. Spacious pitches with lovely views. Some nice walks down by the river either towards Sawley or Bolton by Bowland.

Μου άρεσε Everything! Suzie and Sam are amazing hosts and have a lovely site. The site was quite busy but so peaceful, didn’t hear anyone during the day or at night! Lots of walks directly from the site, either, onto the adjoining moorland or into the nearby village of Ravenstonedale. There are a couple of composting toilets and washing up stations on the site, along with fresh water.

Μου άρεσε Everything!! The area is beautiful and the hosts were both lovely, interesting people. We stayed in the non electric grass pitches overlooking the horses. The village is quaint, lots of the houses date from the early 1700s.

Μου άρεσε Absolutely everything about this site is great! Spacious pitches, good facilities, peaceful, surrounded by trees and nature. The site is accessed by an electric gate (which you get a fob for) so it feels very safe and secure. Fire pits and wood can be purchased too for those perfect evenings under the stars. Highly recommend walking up the lane to the Junction Inn - the food and people were all lovely. There are ample walks in the area with signposts off the track to the site. Finally I have to give a special mention to the site owners - really, really welcoming and helpful. They make you feel so welcome without being overbearing. We cannot wait to return!

Μου άρεσε Such a peaceful stay. Choose your spot, set up camp and watch the sheep, birds and admire the views. Does not feel like a site, just a beautiful wild camp with the added bonus of a water tap, bin and elsan point.

Μου άρεσε Everything! The area is stunning and has some lovely walks directly from the site. We loved watching the resident sheep, goats, pigs and chickens. Facilities are basic but very clean. This is our new favourite site in the Scottish Borders

Μου άρεσε Everything! The facilities are spotless and the site is kept immaculately. The views are amazing and topped by dark skies in the evening to stargaze around the campfire. You can hire a firepit and purchase wood off the owners, or use your own.

Μου άρεσε This site is amazing! Every pitch is, more or less, flat. Lots and lots of space. Very friendly owners. Sparkling clean, well stocked toilet and shower room. Undercover washing up area. Fires allowed and wood can be purchased via the owner or an honesty box.

Μου άρεσε Cannot recommend this place enough!! Tent, camper, tent box / all welcome!! The site has multiple flat spaces to find, places next to the ponds or places to admire the view of Bolton Abbey, Grassington moor, Embsay Moor and beyond. Toilets and showers immaculate. Saw a lizard, dragonfly and buzzards overhead - wildlife haven

Μου άρεσε Absolutely everything (apart from the Scottish rain and wind!!) the campsite was perfect, as always. We were a group of friends with children and dogs - everyone enjoyed the beach, scenery, walks and the campsite in general. Lovely owners too.

Μου άρεσε Flat pitches, clean facilities, lovely owners. Can’t recommend this site enough!! Ideally placed for the Yorkshire 3 peaks and visits to Settle, Ingleton, Hawes and the famous Ribblehead Viaduct.

Μου άρεσε This site is amazing!! Beautiful private beach directly on the site. Flat pitches and plenty of space to choose from. Fire pits available and bags of logs can be bought at the bungalow when you arrive.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not anything against the site but I wish people would follow the rule of keeping their dogs on a lead. We saw two different dogs roaming around, and doing their business, whilst the owners were completely oblivious.

Μου άρεσε Everything!!! Lovely flat pitches. The views from the site are amazing, you can see the sun rise and set. Fire pits are allowed. The facilities are luxurious with a toilet, sink and shower alongside the underfloor heating. Washing up can be done outside with both hot and cold water. The owners are both lovely people, make sure you ask about their home-bred beef which they sell - best steak we have had for a long time!.

Μου άρεσε Lovely stay. Ignore the reviews about the single track road - there are a couple of passing places in gateways and you can see quite a long way ahead on most of the journey to see any oncoming vehicles. The road is no different to many single track roads in the area. The facilities are basic but very, very clean and the freedom to pitch wherever you like suits us perfectly.
