Μου άρεσε It is in a great location. A short walk to Sedbergh, and lots of local walks. There are animals on the farm to look at.

Δεν μου άρεσε There were only 2 showers which was nowhere near enough. They were hot at first but quickly went cold. There were 3 clean toilets plus some very dirty portable toilets. There was often no toilet roll in the toilets. The only sink was for both washing hands and dishes.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Here we have a camper who booked a pitch in the wood field that unambiguously advertises portaloos only. The wood field portaloos were cleaned on the day they arrived. August Bank Holiday was very wet, so of course people had mud on their boots. If you book a grass pitch and it rains heavily, mud will increase. We visit every pitch on the site 8 times a day. Not once were we made aware of any problems with the toilets all weekend. Regarding (free) showers. When you look to use the facilities at peak periods on a Bank Holiday, they’re going to be under pressure. In previous years we’ve hired in 8 mobile showers and had exactly the same feedback. The problem isn’t the showers, it’s people who come to the countryside (in a drought) and expect water pressure of urban infrastructure to support their lack of patience and forward planning. Finally, value for money. Free showers, free fire pits, porcelain toilets, mains water…..if anyone can find a comparable campsite within a 10 miles radius for £30 a pitch, I’ll give them 2027 camping for free. Sincerely Brian

Μου άρεσε Really nice chilled site with a large grassy field. The staff were nice and the toilets were very clean. The showers were hot and clean too. It was a few minutes walk to the nearest pub which sold lovely food. An hour’s walk into Keswick.

Μου άρεσε It was a very relaxing stay. All facilities were clean and well maintained. The bus stops on the campsite and you can walk to the nearest town. Dinner at the Harbour Master was delicious.

Μου άρεσε What a lovely little site. It was warm and welcoming and the toilet block was clean and well-maintained. There was a washer and drier if needed. There is a lovely off road path to Caernarfon close to the camp site.

Μου άρεσε The friendly reception, the onsite bar, the live entertainment, the grass, the clean toilets, easy to find,

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers are non-thermostatic and the temperature can change rapidly. No vegetarian options at the BBQ.
