Μου άρεσε Nice quiet spot in a field behind the pub, there is a grass field and some gravel hard standing areas. The pub is approximately a 40 minute walk along a path to York city centre. Staff are really friendly and the pub grub is reasonably priced. There are no toilets or showers just an Elsan point to dump any waste, so more suitable for motor homes.

Μου άρεσε The entertainment on the Friday evening was great, a local musician playing popular songs on guitar. The showers and toilet facilities were all good particularly those in the top part of the site.

Δεν μου άρεσε We were directed to a rather wet muddy pitch and got stuck. Staff assisted us to get the van out and we were offered an alternative non electric pitch for one night and told that we would have to move to another pitch for the next night, also non electric. No offer of a refund was made for the difference between us paying for an electric pitch.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful quiet farm location far away from noisy roads. The washing facilities and showers were very good. Fire pits were available for hire and there is a small shop selling essential items. Wi fi was available free of charge

Μου άρεσε Spacious pitches screened by hedges, toilet and shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. Hot water was provided which was actually hot to enable washing up. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions to the local park and ride location. Electric services were provided with plenty of water points available.

Δεν μου άρεσε Wi fi was not available for the whole site, just by the reception area but this did not bother us.

Μου άρεσε Location, behind a pub which had good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Toilet and showers were all good , adults only so no kids running around at silly o’clock.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful quiet location in a Dorset village, pitches are in a wood and are spaced out to provide privacy. Toilet facilities are very rustic, but they were clean and tidy. Showering facilities were also very rustic but again clean.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you for your lovely review. Please come and stay with us again sometime.

Μου άρεσε Remote location, nice large open field to park in. 3 toilets and 2 showers which were kept clean and tidy. There was a place to wash dishes and a shelter which had a fridge for use to keep cool blocks in. There were also charging points for mobile phones. An old drovers way meant that we could walk into Salisbury without having to walk on a main road. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Μου άρεσε Everything about this site was good, we received a warm welcome from reception staff, the facilities on offer were excellent we used the indoor swimming pool every morning, the bar staff were friendly as were all the staff we met on site. This is one of the best sites we have been to in the uk. The toilets and showers were great and the place was kept clean and tidy.

Μου άρεσε Campsite was quiet and in a village location, there were only 50 pitches. We could order bread and croissants every day. We cycled into Riems along the canal which was nice and flat going each way. Site staff were friendly and helpful.

Δεν μου άρεσε Hot water wasn’t hot just tepid, separate toilets and showers for men and women but only 3 cubicles to cater for 100 people when the site was full which was when we were there. Wi fi on site bu only if you stood outside the reception.

Μου άρεσε In lovely countryside close to walks, one just 10 mins away which shows you caves where mill stones were chopped out of the rock. Toilets and showers are adequate there are 3 blocks and the site is big with lots of different nationalities present. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and helpful, there is a shop to buy essential items and a cafe/ bar. A free bus service is available to all so you can get into the local town which is beautiful.

Δεν μου άρεσε On the second day we were invaded by a ‘troop’ of some 30 children aged 10 - 12. They arrived and run riot around the site until very late with no visible control over them by supervising adults. I know that this is not the fault of the site owners but perhaps they could have been allocated in an area away from families who were there to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Μου άρεσε Location of the campsite, in a large wooded area which meant that there was plenty of room. Washing and toilet facilities were excellent and there were laundry facilities available. People on the site were very friendly some had their caravans there permanently. There was a bar and restaurant and vending machines selling essentials. The site staff were very friendly. Lots of walks around the area of the site and further afield. There was wi-fi available for free.

Μου άρεσε Everything about our stay from being greeted by the owners on our arrival to the facilities available. A small campsite nice and level ground. Nice clean toilet / shower block with lots of hot water. Bart and Anky were very happy to talk to us about what we could do in the local area during our stay. There is a village 2 kms away with a few shops and cafes. Overloon is 5kms away, is a bit bigger, has a cracking war museum and shops, one being a great ice cream parlour. The locals are very friendly.

Μου άρεσε Peaceful and quiet site, close to the town of Albert. Lots of WW1 sites nearby and a great little museum in the centre of town. Toilets and showers are mixed but clean. There is a wildlife park type place to walk or cycle around.

Δεν μου άρεσε No toilet paper or hand washing soap available.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Μου άρεσε The grass pitch with electric power, we had issues with the electric hook up on the pitch we were given, but someone came out to fix it straight away, in fact we had to move our van to another location but it was all done with no problems. Campsite was clean and tidy, with an indoor swimming pool, bar and restaurants.

Δεν μου άρεσε Had to pay for the wi fi
