Μου άρεσε Lovely welcome, great views, fantastic spotless bathrooms, fab place for walking. All round a great campsite with wonderful cafe and shop onsite.

Δεν μου άρεσε There's nothing to dislike at this site it's really lovely. The only reason we didn't give it a ten is the price which is way too high. We visit the Island regularly and really wanted to try this site as it's a great location so took the price on the nose but it does mean we wouldn't go back there. I think they're losing business too as other local sites were much busier in August.

Δεν μου άρεσε Although there's a site manager on-site the area could do with a thorough tidy up. There was a long roll of loo roll streamer like all over the hedge, general rubbish in the carpark area and by our pitch lots of old used tea lights scattered about. Also very expensive but that might have been as it was new year's eve?

Μου άρεσε Spotlessly clean facilities. Good location for exploring the area. Nice area to exercise your dogs on site. Beautifully kept.

Δεν μου άρεσε Nothing they can do about it but it's right by a busy noisy road. Not so much if a problem in the winter or if just using as a stop over but it wouldn't be very nice sat outside in warmer months. No dog walk nearby.

Μου άρεσε Lovely location in pretty village. One of the best onsite dog walking areas we've seen with large field plus walks directly from site. Good location to visit Chesil beach and Weymouth plus the rest of Dorset. Friendly, welcoming staff.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful site with really handy dog walk on site. Much better than many sites dog walks! Very peaceful and everyone is really well spaced out.

Μου άρεσε Beautifully kept small site. Friendly welcome in the pub. Winter when we went so not sat outside but each pitch has a nice outside area with picnic table and bench seats. Great for overnight stay.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not so much dislike but disappointed that to eat in the pub you have to order your food midday on the day before you want to eat. We were only there one night and looking forward to eating in the pub but as we didn't know this until the day we arrived we couldn't be accommodated. Understand this is due to good being freshly prepared on the day but thought we might at least be able to get ham and chips or similar. Ended up going to another dog friendly pub round the corner which was lovely so not an issue just seems a shame.

Μου άρεσε Great location to explore Northumberland about an hour from Newcastle and bonus that it's open all year. Friendly welcome on arrival. Nice pub/restaurant which was dog friendly. Also shop in easy walking distance. There's also a pool and an arcade but we didn't use them. Location by the river, lot's of ducks around. Plenty of dog bins around.

Δεν μου άρεσε Clearly set up for the static caravans and lodges. Area for caravans and mobile homes seems like an afterthought. Lot's of caravans seem to be kept there all year round not a problem of course but many left untidy with lots of stuff left out or falling out from under vans so looks untidy. Felt a bit crammed in. Didn't matter to us as winter stop so not sat outside but think it would feel a bit claustrophobic in the summer months. What was really odd is that there's nowhere for motorhome grey waste! The grey waste point for caravans is down the side of the shower block but for motorhomes unless you have a bucket you're stuck. I did ask at reception but they didn't know what motorhomers did! The chemical waste point was in the same location and wasn't very pleasant or easy to access....watch out for splashback on your shoes. The area was not cleaned down during our week stay. Walking round the site the static area is spotless. The caravan and motorhome area had a fair bit of litter mostly sweet and crisp packets etc. We picked up what we saw but it would be better if the staff patrolled at least once a day to do a litter pick up. Of course it would be even better if people picked up their own!

Μου άρεσε Convenient for stop over before returning for Calais the next day. Clean bathrooms.

Δεν μου άρεσε Think most of this site is now residential and 2nd home statics/mobile homes. Not great for dog walks in fact couldn't find one nearby. Couldn't find anywhere to empty chemical waste except down the main toilets. Most expensive site on our two week stay.

Μου άρεσε Nice site, wasn't too busy so we had plenty of room. Really friendly helpful staff. 20 min walk to the beach. Great if you don't want to drive.

Δεν μου άρεσε If it had been busy it would have been a bit tight. We were in 7m motorhome. Shame the cafe/restaurant is only open July and August.

Μου άρεσε All good. This was our first night away in our motorhome, a bit of a practice run not too far from home so we could test everything out! It's basically a feild behind the pub car park with gravelled areas for a few motorhomes. Fine for an overnight stay or if you want to eat at the pub. Great dog walks detailed on their website too.
